    Our former midfielder Daniel Pudil @Pupik33 will end his proffesional career today at @fkvz1903. Pudil won 2007/08 Czech title with the Red-Whites before joining @KRCGenkofficial, @GranadaCdeF, @WatfordFC or @swfc.

    Reading up him, I just found out something that I never knew - he had a trial with Watford in 2007, but Aidy Boothroyd decided not to offer him a contract. Not long after that he was playing Champions League football for Slavia Prague.

    Rene Gilmartin, who is currently working as a goalkeeper coach for the Republic of Ireland’s Under-21 team, has been appointed as assistant manager at Swindon. Gilmartin and Swindon's new boss John McGreal worked with each other at Colchester, where Gilmartin was a goalkeeper and featured 22 times for Colchester during the 2018/19 season.

    McGreal told Swindon’s website: “I know what type of character he is. Very, very hard working, studious of the game and a thoroughly professional coach. I know all the attributes that he’ll bring as a coach and as a person. It’s the trust factor as well, I know he’s someone that will get the best out of the squad and the staff in and around him as well.”

    Ex Youth product Jayden Sancho in the England squad.

    Looks like we've almost got as many right backs as midfielders.

    Is Southgate still our England manager because the FA think he has been good, or because no self respecting ambitious manager would touch that poison chalice for any amount of money

    I almost look forward to a game where our back four are all right backs who all line up on the right side of the pitch
