Where are all the threads about Altidore missing that sitter?

When he was playing ****e I said he was playing ****e. He's been brilliant since Poyet arrived and I've praised him.


I think Larsson is poor but he played well yesterday.

The thing with Altidore is that he takes the flack for everything. Like Arsenal defeat which I fail to see how it was his fault at all.

It was a tongue in cheek thread just highlighting how some players get away with anything.and some get hammered.

If Altidore had missed that chance I guarantee someone on.here would have had a thread saying hoe ****e he is and how he cost us our best chance of silverware for years.

 

I wasn't having a go at the players just some fans that blame everything on Altidore.

 

Could have sworn you mentioned Fletcher?

 

I never had a go I just pointed out that had it been Altidore who missed that chance there'd have been threads slating him, but the fact it was Fletcher nothing gets said.

 

This thread reminds me of Smugs 'f**k off' thread after we humped Fulham 4-1. We have just got to our first final in 22 years and I'm immensely proud of Gus and the players for this cup run, they gave us every last ounce of sweat, which is all us SAFC fans have ever wanted and still people feel the need to put a negative on it and cause this between supporters, when we should be all in it together

The only 'sitter' was the Borini chance when bad decision making cost us 2-0.

Fletch had a half chance, if he'd hit a ball dropping over his shoulder full on the volley with his weak foot.

This wasn't my thought at that time like, and everyone within 200 metres knew it...

 

The lads performed for us mate, each and everyone of them, there were some class performances out there yesterday and they did us proud.

Fletcher's was a half chance as you have said, maybe Borini would have done better with it? We'll never know but it might just spur Fletch on for next Sunday.

 

Like I said on another thread, there would have been hell on if Altidore missed that chance no question.

But I'm not scapegoating Fletcher and I don't want fans to treat him the same way as they treat Altidore. Just think it's unfair Jozy gets stick but Fletcher is immune

 

Not quite, what it means is that Altidore is crap and so it would seem is Fletcher..so other than Borini we do not have a striker who can score
