If the takeover doesn't happen.... and we sign **** all in Jan (probably selling a couple) will Rafa walk shortly after.... or will he wait until the summer.... or will he stick it out again?

Can we panic about one thing at a time please?

Let's all concentrate our panicking on the sale of the Club by Ashley and then if that falls through then we can all concentrate our panicking on whether Rafa stays or not.

I can't panic about everything all of the time, I just don't have the time!!!

I just don't have enough panic left in me, let alone the time, to be able to concentrate on panicking about more than one thing at once!

If nowt happens regarding the sale, Rafa will at least stay to the end of the season to steer the club to safety. Just keep beating the dross around us and we will stay up. But regarding the sale itself, who knows?

If it was me and no takeover, no funds, no players through the door - and I'm taking plan A's and B's not a few shakey loan deals Rafa hasn't asked for - I'd be off on the 1st of February as those last 10 games could prove exceptionally tricky if we have any of our "top" players injured for the tail end of the season. Rafa may have more about him but I don't think he'll be here past early March if none of the above comes to fruition.

I mean we have 7 of the current top 10 in our final 10 games... Southampton, Huddersfield and West Brom are the other 3 games.

He's meant to have to pay several million pounds to leave his contract so no he'll stay. He'll also stay because of the possibility of the takeover still happening before next season.

I can't see him walking.

I'd be bitterly disappointed if he left us after accumulating all this ****e. He is duty bound to sort his mess out from what I can see.

I think he values his reputation as a man of his word enough to finish the season. I don't think he will stay around after that, though, as he won't want to obtain a reputation as the manager of third rate clubs. I would be very surprised if he signed a contract that doesn't give him the option to leave.

Multitasking is the answer

I don't think we will get anyone that I interesting in. The sale has already gone on too long. The uncertainty will put and end to any chance of spending anything like the money needed to buy quality now. We may get a decent (ish) loan in but that's about it I think.
