Ah, but it's all true. We're just a small club with no history, full of nasty players, are incapable of changing our style of play to beat specific opposition, can't play attacking football and always win 1:0 or draw 0:0 and only successful because we have money - unlike Man United, City & Liverpool who all have 500 years of history, don't and have never had glory-hunters, always play the beautiful game, have never had injections of money or bought any players (all home-grown) and have never-ever had any of their players ever involved in anything other than being a perfect individual.

In fairness though (and it's not often I agree with CRofL) the op has a point. United were more negative than any team I've seen in Europe this year and yet get lauded for having sheer bloody mindedness. Basically Bayern were **** in front of goal last night and were trying to walk it in every time they came forward. I very much doubt they'll have the same problem at the Allianz but footy is a weird game sometimes.

When Chelsea won the Champions league all the media was going on about was the brilliant defending and backs to the wall single mindedness that saw you through. It was us fans who said it was negative football.

Don't have a problem with what Jose, or Chelsea in general, has/have done, as I'm sure if Liverpool grind out 1-0 wins with heroic defending till the end of the season I'd give less than a **** about what people said.
