Me too. But it's basically one man being given licence to do so by the spineless turds who sit on their hands.
The Fa will still say NO The FA would have said NO even if CTWD never existed in my opinion The poll was pointless....nul and void The question should have been HULL CITY HULL TIGERS tick which box you prefer.
Her's a typical 'useful idiot' from HullCityOnline. I have italicised where he has been brainwashed/conned into thinking 'name change = investment magnet. "Neil Harrison says: Monday 7 April, 2014 at 6:42 pm This result can be “spun” in different ways. Another way would be that only 2500 are strongly opposed. By definition if people couldn’t be bothered to vote they cant have felt that strongly against the name change. Most people, like myself are not in favour of the name change but are not strongly opposed. If Hull Tigers us the price we have to pay for sustained Premier League football, Wembley appearances and European football then so be it. At some point the Allams will sell and no doubt the name will be changed back. Just get behind the team on Saturday and enjoy it!" It seems unlikley that the FA would allow us to change our name twice so we would be stuck with the Disneyland Allam one. Incidentally, first dibs on the Hull City railway nameplate that Paul Duffen rescued on our behalf and that another previous shot chairman had flogged. Presumably AA will junk it into a skip as it's common and lousy.
As a pro Allam supporter even I voted NO . I DO NOT BELIEVE MORE THEN EVEN 100 PREFER THE NAME HULL TIGERS TO HULL CITY.. Idiot poll
**** off Chazz, they came out in favour of the owner not ****ing off and you know it. Daily Mail in getting story wrong shocker...
Agreed. Apart from a few self-loathing attention-seeking wretches on here, I've yet to hear of anyone who thinks it's a good idea. Perhaps now we know where some of these corporate ticketst went....
If AA wants to piss off.....bye bye Like iv said before our new owner could be our Greatest ever ! I honestly have yet to meet anyone in real life who prefers Hull Tigers as our name . Right time for my cocoa
Or, of course, most CTWD are plastics who don't have season tickets and could not therefore vote. Looks like there are only 2500 of them in total. Pathetic, but very, very, loud. Bet they die out now!
I still dont get how people can support this conniving manipulative tosser of an owner - CTWD still support him !! and for that reason its selling its soul on to the devil Allam . at 19:04 id love to hear the fans , but chant Allam out instead - he is mugging us all ! even those who refused to vote .
FFS sake it couldn't be clearer 15033 had an opportunity to back the owner 2565 did, the rest didn't.
Well if the Daily Mail says so. Guess the poll must be all above board then! Funny how the CTID chant is particularly loud at away games then. Don't suppose you'd know though.
I'm a big guy, I can take being called a ****. Sometimes! I am a season pass holder and I voted that I don't care. Why? Because I'm weak willed? Because I've been brainwashed? Because I'm a ****? No. It's because I don't care. Football for me is a social event, I take my kids and meet up with like minded people, some of whom I don't even know. History and tradition for me is taking my kids to the football and meeting up with like minded people. Just like I used to with my dad. Recently, all we've talked about is this stupid name change, not our performances, league position, cup run, potential transfers or results. I've waited 15 years to be able to celebrate this level of success, my dad waited longer (my kids not as long!), but I'm disagreeing and arguing with people who are supposed to share my hopes and dreams. It ****ing stinks. I'm not blaming the Allams for this, I'm not blaming CTWD either. I believe they share a common goal, the long term success of our club. They just have different ideas of how to achieve this. I love going to the football, but I have more important things in my life to be passionate about. At the end of the day, many things will stop me going to football, but the division we're in or what we call ourselves won't influence me at all. I've just noticed I said "stop going" not "stop supporting." I can't think of anything that would stop me supporting.
If the press feed the ego and the FA knock the application back, what are the chances Allam shuts the **** up about it and gets on with the proper business and we can crack on supporting City?
