Listening to the health programme thingy on Radio 4 earlier, talking about people with agoraphobia actually doing 'okay' at the moment...
Anyways they discussed the previous FOMO problem (Google it FFS), will now become FOGO (Fear of Going Out)!!!

I’m deffo not feeling like I’m missing out or having any anxiousness about going out. There’s just no need at the minute &, by far, the most sensible thing to do is to stay home if you can. I can, so do.

I’m missing the kids, I see two regularly, they’re nearby, but the youngest is still at Uni going through his exams. That causes me more upset than anxiety as does the Missus still going to work amongst a population weighted with ignorant & selfish pricks. How she’s not twatted some I’ll never know but I’ll always be in awe of her patience.

The dread is getting back into a rat race of rush hour traffic, petrol bills, shopping queues, remembering which businesses to boycott & other mundane day to day **** that I’m currently avoiding. It’ll probably be one of the safest places to work when there but I’m happy at home for now.

Come on then, what you singing in the corona karaoke?

Police: Don't Stand so close to me.
Akon: So lonely.
Peggy Lee: Fever
The Verve: The drugs don't work

Any more for any more?
The Black Keys : Lonely Boy
Guns n Roses : Patience
Oasis : My sister lover
Pearl Jam : The end

Rock on

We're in danger of seriously ****ing this up, by the way.

Not political but why the ****ing ****ity **** are the police allowing protests in the ****ing streets at the moment?

I can't breathe?

The ****ing irony of this will be felt by the poor ****er on a ventilator gasping these very words in two weeks time, innit?

I despair, I really do.

So has this board 'done one' then? I don't think it's ever been so quite on here.

Come on, wur rrr you?

I'm still here, you would have thought that with no one going out forums would be busier but it seems not to be the case. They must all be watching **** on Netflicks 24/7

Didn't help locking the virus thread just because one or two got too political.

Talking of Greek, I had a takeaway Mousaka from The Greek on Prinny Ave the other night. ****ing tasteless:angry:

I've never had 'restaurant food' that works well as takeaway, just never seems to work. Better off sticking with 'proper' takeway, fish and chips, pizza, that sort of stuff imo.

The Greek seems to have a very good reputation, so I was surprised how poor it was. Maybe the good chef's furlough.

The last Haddock and Chips I had were superb.

Newland Ave chippy.

Only really appreciated Greek food when I ate it in Greece, totally different and delicious over there, rather tasteless and greasy in the UK. Probably different ingredients and riper veg.

One time on Tasos we went to a well known local restaurant famous for it's lamb. It looked like a pile of bones which had already been picked over by at least two other tables before being served to us. At least it gave the kids something to remember the holiday by.
