Correction. Barca WERE the better side. This season Real have been far better as their league position shows.

Fair enough, yeah. But the whole kick people when they are down (which is effectively what is happening) is not banter or rivalry. Maybe my views are clouded by growing up playing snooker which is about as polar opposite in sportsmanship and humility to football as you can get.

Reverse the roles. Would you be a bit miffed? Disappointed/gutted? Of course you would. So there are bound to be threads about it here.

Well we weren't playing Barca in the spanish league but in Europe where they had won 2 of the last 3 finals and Real haven't made one for nearly 10 years.

You are really reaching if you think we were lucky to have played Barca over 2 legs, Bayern in the final in Germany but avoided Real.

TBH I have little interest in gloating (some CFC fans will). I'm just responding to some of the ridiculous comments and threads made by the likes of HIAG whose more interested in what CFC and Liverpool are doing than his own team. He spent most of the season on our board stirring **** till he got banned so there is a little pay back going on I guess.

Righteo. Well the whole payback thing is another thing i just don't understand either. We get WUMs on here too, but i don't see the point in going onto their board to retaliate.

I guess we should just agree to disagree. Well done on your Champs League. Must have been an amazing night for you guys. Normally i (and i'm sure a few other Spurs fans) would've supported you to the hilt in the final but alas it had disastrous consequences for our club so we couldn't.

People always accuse you of what they them selves are guilty of. It's a golden rule!

In this case Chelsea are the holders of a European trophy and a place in the next CL competition. Spurs have lost out on the usual prize that being 4th brings.

It is not for the injured party to show the class it is the place of the winners which in this case is Chelsea.

Some of us have visited the Chelsea board to congratulate them on their win and even praised Cech, Cole, & Drogba on their performances.

The Spurs board on the other hand has been plagued from the time the final finished to now with a stream of 'Chelsea Fans' amongst others on the wind up. Two bannings, several closed threads and many deleted posts on one of the most open boards on not606.

Not very impressive Chelsea and not much sign of class.

    Fair enough.

Didn't expect you to support us and really it shouldn't have come down to it. Overall in the league you were the 3rd best team IMO but the Harry saga and a bad run of fixtures hurt you in the final 3rd of the season.

Next season promises to be another belter.

Nonsence. It hasn't been elitist since they started allowing 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed teams to enter.

It would be more boring if Barca won it every year.

And given how badly you were outplayed in 2 C.L finals of late, I wouldn't pipe up so quickly about how other teams approach playing Barca et all. Your performance last year was frankly an embarrasment...and you were English champions not lowly 6th placed like us!!

We're going around in circles, here. Once again, nobody said you were lucky to draw Barca - although as I pointed out, at that stage of the competition, there are no easy rides. However, you WERE very lucky to beat them. As you were Bayern in the final. Ok, fair enough, you won. But, trying to portray it as some great tactical victory, when it was dependent on luck more than anything else, just won't wash with me, or many others

Well frankly my dear...I don't give a damn!!

I suspect if we had got beaten by someone in the manner we beat Barca and Bayern you wouldn't be crowing so much.

We had a bloody hard draw, no contentious decisions go our way and still emerged as champions. You call it luck if it helps you sleep at night but many elements contributed to that success of which luck was only a part.

Eh? Who has been gloating. Most Chelsea fans on this board have had nothing but sympathy for the way Spurs were exlcuded unfairly from the CL.
What have I said to upset you and "provoke a reaction"? 100 years started off pretty good in this thread aswell, I would argue that it was you who provoked him. You went on and on about how Chelsea are **** and didnt deserve to be European Champions and you dont expect a reaction?!

First of all, i haven't mentioned you a single time. Get your facts right.
Second, read the thread. Post #8 isn't particularly nice is it? I could go through the other 7 pages and pull out other comments from Chelsea fans but frankly i don't see why i should.

    I await your retraction

One more thing... what about the Liverpool away match that Chelski more or less threw? Fair enough it was an end of season nothing match (although if you want to be technical Chelski still had a chance of 4th mathematically), but the point is that it might not have been. That match could have affected relegation or CL but Chelski didn't try because of their 'eggs in one basket' strategy. In a thread about leaving a bad taste, that one does too as it completely relegates the status of the PL to being secondary to the CL.

"None of the Chelsea fans have come across for debate and discussion"

You didnt mention my name but being a Chelsea fan, this broad statement includes me.
Mate, you are always gonna get douchebags from every group of supporters, I will admit I have seen my fair share of idiots on here claiming to support my team just as I have seen alot of Spurs, Arsenal and United "fans" who are really just trolls. There is no need to go ahead and pick them apart, just ignore them as the idiots they are.

Look, if this exact thread had been started by the same person but on the Chelsea board then i would fully expect double barrels from each and every Chelsea fan. Its not particularly nice about Chelsea, but it is on OUR board, and it isn't _that_ bad considering how gutting saturday was for us.

Sweeping generalisations like the one of mine you highlighted are common practice across forums. Obviously some chelsea fans want to debate and discuss, but there are a LOT that don't. I could've said "only 60% of the chelsea fans have come across for debate and discussion" but i probably would have been called a complete nob, probably by my fellow Spurs fans.
If you don't like that comment, you could have just taken your own advice, ignored me and been thankful i'm on my own board and not yours.

Fair enough, but I didnt ignore you because you are not a troll. I know that from having seen your posts previously.
Most of this thread is good natured fun agreed, I wouldnt class 100 years as a troll either, maybe a little zealous in defending Chelsea, but no more zealous than alot of the Spurs fans on this thread (see I said alot, not all :)).

This IS the Spurs board that you're on. Yes, a lot of us have strong feelings, and we express them here - on our board. Let's face it, you have been tolerated for far longer here, than any of us would have been on your board. Had I gone on to your board expressing my view that you were extraordinarily lucky to beat both Barca, and Bayern, I would have been subjected to a torrent of foul-mouthed abuse, and then probably banned by skid marks!

Ooh, you'll make me blush if you carry on.

No, i don't count 100 as a troll, or you. It was a bit inconvenient that you had both posted recently before my comment i suppose. I don't have a problem with 100, and i hope he doesn't have a problem with me. We had a bit of a discussion with a difference of opinion and possibly some crossed wires but there was no "ner ner ner" or "your an *******" involved so its all good as far as i'm concerned.

To be honest, its not just this thread either. There are comments spattered across most of the threads on here at the moment and if you're sad enough to read them all (which it appears i am) then it can slowly wind you up.

We'll have you next year, ner ner ner ;)
