NObody, I don't like loans unless they're used in an emergency as they can unsettle the squad in obvious ways that I wont go in to. Only loan I would want is a striker and there isn't going to be anyone available better than what we've got (including Balotelli, he's a dick) so I would say stick with what we've got.

ok that would be my response if the loan system was still in use <laugh><doh>

The FA allow special dispensation for emergency goalkeeper situations

Emergency striker situations please FA.

Thats a ridiculous rule though. All your goalkeepers are injured? You should have more keepers then. Even youth ones. ****ing FA <doh>

Exactly, promote a kid from the academy if you have to, it's only fair.

As someone has already said, it could crush a players confidence and harm his career.

Goalkeeping is a specialist position, so whilst you can play other players out-of-position (like a midfielder as a striker) you can't really do that with goalkeeping. Field players haven't been trained to jump right or land right, so in playing a normal game they could quite easily injure themselves.

Anyone got any suggestions as to who they'd take on loan if we had the chance?

I'm hoping for at least semi realistic answers haha

I'll go all out on a limb and say Mario balotelli

My incredibly odd mind had a dream last night that I asked Mario to come to NUFC on loan. He said he'd already signed, and then he gave me his hat, which was then stolen by a jealous Carlos Tevez, who said he wanted to come here instead...
