I think it’s defind as bullying if it’s aimed at the same person all the time? If he’s making them do stupid things as a collective then it’s just maybe **** discipline?

Not regarding the Cardiff city and Bellamy story above and talking about bullying in general, you’re not really referring to bullying.

Young footballers used to have to clean boots, clean changing rooms, help the kit man, run errands etc etc. Fergie made players work in the club shop twice a week and if you acted a **** he would let you know about it. All of this stuff is character building and WAS good for young players. And I agree that this not being the case anymore and players being given thousands before their even men is wrong.

However, no child should be afraid to go into the academy. No child should be physically afraid of staff. This isn’t about making children know the value of where they are and working hard. It’s about coaches who have and continue to abuse children and it ain’t right.

    There is a difference.

Fair point, but I'd be very careful about using the word abuse in a public forum especially when you claim to have been contacted re this already. Not a single report re this has mentioned abusing children as far as I'm aware.

I wasn’t referring to the alleged case, I’m taking about what bullying is and isn’t in general terms.

As is stated in the first sentence of the post you quoted.

Are Craig Bellamy and Peter Beardsley peas from the same pod?

I’d most certainly consider bullying abuse. Whether it be children, youths or adults.

I regularly get bullied into getting my round in. Ok I don't confront them head on I just slip out of a side door on a trip to the toilet and leave.
    I feel abused.

Bullying is a form of abuse. Simple.

I agree, I just didn't want someone to get potentially caught up in crossing bullying with the stuff we have seen last year with the scout abusing young boys etc
