    The correct answer to the thread title is 'Shola will play'.

    In all seriousness it'll be Ben Arfa off Best or Shola, and I'm quite happy with that. Are people seriously suggesting Lovenkrands?

    Against lower league opponents in the cup maybe. I like Lovenkrands and he's a top pro, but shouldn't be starting league games except in emergencies. I don't like to see a long ball game, but him and Ben Arfa means we don't even have the option of the occasional long bomb.

    I love Lovenkrands and he used to be a decent player, but Shola and Best are far far better than him now. Luckily, I think Pardew knows this and I don't expect Lovenkrands to be playing in Ba's place.

    I actually like the idea of Ben Arfa playing off Best given his pace. We need a striker to try getiing in behind and to stretch defenses.
