Bothroyd will probably be snapped up by a Wigan or Wolves. I'd love that, actually, anything to get the cheat out of our league.

 

Oh and yeah, Buckley was never going to replace DG. Sordell and Deeney are both raring to go and I can see them making a pretty slick partnership next year.

We must keep Sordell, he showed sighns last year of being world class, I went to the Leicster away game, he played his heart out and was rewarded with one of the best goals this season, a fantastic performance, if he can get more concistent then will be very useful next year

 

Agree with both your posts there GoldieHorn! Even if Bothroyd stated he would play for Watford on £1 a week wages, I would be so disappointed. Even more disappointed than when Nordin Wooter was poached by the Eerste Divisie power house RBC Roosendaal, aka "The Most Exciting Footballing Dynasty to Come Out of South Eastern Netherlands".

Also, I can definitely see things clicking with Sordell and Deeney.

As for next season, I am hoping for something similar to the past season. A mid-table finish, with some promising flourishes. Still feel we need another humble season in the Championship before targeting the Cherished Land.

 

i just worry that Sordell can be quite lazy at times, but when he's on his game, he's good. He was scoring well at the beginning of last season...let's hope he can pick that level up again

 

Maybe he should put the cast back on his arm Hornette the goals seemed to dry up when he took it off

As far as we can tell Bassini has covered our deficits for the last season, I can see our sales income going towards that this year as Bassini is already financially tied to paying off the Lord Ashcroft debt over the next 5 years (ish)
