"I dont like swearing" Wah wah wah

How old are some of these? I mean all of the links to 'bad posts' are all on the Man U boards. Forgetting to look at the 2 most active for how it could be.

I was trying to put that point across but was hitting a brick wall. Then some more manc/pool articles involving the same posters would be copy and pasted to show how this site is the work of the devil!

What kind of ****tard doesn't like swearing? They're only ****ing words for **** sake. Stupid little ****s.

Although I have to say I've taken the swearing thing a little over the top. Like many others, the fact that I was allowed to swear on here made me do it to excess and that began to creep into my real world personality as well. I inadvertently offended an old couple this morning, and after another episode this afternoon I've been banned from my local post office.

I know what you mean. I told my boss she had the face like a weeping **** and then went about howling "**** yoooooouuuuu" like a rabid wolf around the office. I haven't got a job now but it gives me more time to spend on Not606 :emoticon-0148-yes:
 
It's ok on here but the swearing can get a bit tedious. I don't find it offensive but i just feel some of it is a bit over the top. I expect it'll stop being so frequent when the novelty of a board with out too much moderation wears out <ok>
 
I worry about the name and how long the forum may last as a result.
With 606's closure, the popularity of this site and many like it has boomed (this one was around for ages before though) I believe it's only a matter of time before they start the copyright infringement claims.
Maybe that could be a suggestion to change the name & logo so this doesn't happen?
I'd hate to have to find another new forum and without any way of communicating we'd be scattered again!
 
ToonSi: I don't think the site will last that long either. 606 attracted new users because they would click on a BBC Sport article and see a quote embedded and join the debate. Eventually people will drift away from this site but there'll be no way of luring new users.

I'm going to make a News section and the moderators will be able to promote insightful posts to full blown articles - then I will get us listed on NewsNow.co.uk and we will get plenty of new traffic to replenish from there :)
