This was all over Twitter: Mo Salah@MoRyxn 20h ago SALAH WITH THE COLDEST CELEBRATION Amaka@AmakaokoliDD 19h ago Please what does this Salah's recent celebration mean? Frowning and giving attitude??? #annoying Uncle Zode @Dr_Zode 19h ago Salah celebrations seems like someone who isn't happy at the club!!! Does he want to do a Coutinho!!! I hope not #BOULIV #LFC etc I have a theory: after the third goal I think it was, he ran over to the crowd as if to say: 'Is this what you've been missing?' It could be he's pissed off that fans have been doubting him, or it could be this: Tim Bolton@timbolton1 19h ago No celebration from Salah again. HE'S DEFINITELY OFF TO BARCELONA IN JANUARY. Although I know this guy is a major WUM
klopp has been moaned about for over celebrating, he was quite reserved yesterday. players get booked for taking their shirts off in celebration because of ****ing money reasons£££££ i don't see any problem apart from they seem intent on taking the passion out the game, and try and highlight it as a bad thing when they cant moan about it i used to celebrate similar to salah, doesn't mean i was pissed or any other reason. media just need something to over hype an incident, sad really.
did you note the ref on goal 4 coming over and warning our players on celebrations? I reckon it was all a protest. ref was on beforehand saying he's watching us cos we are mad ****s who run round the pitch etc etc. like... yes there's 10k in the ground (note.ground not stadium) tjere was prob 3/4k of our fans
I just reckon he doesn't want it to be all about him. It says alot when it's seen as odd when players like Salah and kante come along and are seen as odd for being humble and slightly shy. We are so used to footballers wanting to be the centre of attention, wanting to have their own dance, fragrance and brand of bog roll. His gesture giving the motm award to milner yesterday speaks more about his character than not running to the camera giving it the big I am.
He did plenty of smiling in his after game interviews, his gesture in giving the MOTM award to Milner spoke volumes about him and his feelings within the team/club.
Going to sound odd after he's just got a hat-trick but... If it's not all about him then he should go back to last season and pass to a teammate occasionally.
The entire front three hasn't clicked like last year, plus he is very tightly marked. When he receives the ball he has his head down while 2 players hack at him trying to get it back. The inter play just isn't there at the moment, but rather than a problem with attitude, I think it's more to do with learning the new positions and game plan.
maybe, but he could be similar to suarez in natural winner and knows its better for him to try than to pass. Mane is the more greedy one not salah.
Very true, teams have also changed the way they play against us now. Lets be honest, our tactics last season were pretty one dimensional and made obvious what our flaws were, almost all teams will now try deny us space in behind to exploit hence us not scoring many goals similar to 2nd or 4th yesterday.
personally couldn't care less what goal celebration Mo does as long as we see it another 30 times this season.
it's a 1 season wonder then type of celebration for me. that has obviously been driven by the media, but see why. long may it continue.
I think he's dissatisfied with himself and his performances compared to last season, and his reaction shows one of determination to get it right as opposed to the sheer joy he showed then. I fully understand it tbh, I would be like that. Also, he seems to be a humble bloke and pride and arrogance probably goes against the grain with him.
He looked hurt after the 2nd goal for obvious reason. He had a little smirk after the 3rd as he knew he was back to his best with that.
