2:0 v scum at Sjp in play offs, courtesy of the g-force
    2:1 v chelsea at rokerin 92 semi's courtesy of Gordon's thumping header
2:1 v scum at Sjp 'in the rain'
4:2 win against Chelsea at the bridge, 2001(?) season. A don hutch master class that day, and oddly found myself surrounded by a few fellow mackems in the 'posh seats' so we all got mortal. As you do. A fun, fun day out.
Having a disco at the cottage after beating full ham 3:1 in 2007/8 season. Thought the stand was gonna come down

......lots of happy days out. Looking forward to more

Newcastle 0-2 Sunderland 1990 play-off second leg !, the most important derby for years, the 'bald eagle' blamed the wind for their defeat not that we played fantastic that night and legends the G force won that game.

    Cant decide between these :

    1. Playoff 2-0 at sjp
    2. 2-1 phillips winner standing in the concourse
    3. Gordon armstrong rising like a salmon to send us to wembley

    Or possibly this :

    Edit

    5. The final whistle going down barnsley with quinny in goal knowing we had almost secured promotion

For me and yes its hindsight, its the opposite of everything bad things lead to good and good lead to bad not long after.

    Bad to good.

Swindon Play off final, We got beat, I was there, was gutting, but we still went up, ok it didnt last long, but we still went up.
Charlton Play Off Final, We got beat, I was there, was doubly gutting, but we came back stronger the year after and got promoted with a record points tally (at the time) and got 2 7th place finishes in the PL.

    Good to Bad

Beating the toon in the play off final, it papered over the cracks for us, but got SJH and Keegan going, ploughed lots of cash into them, got into the PL, stayed in the PL etc etc

    Good - Good

1973 cup final but i was only 1 at the time.

    Bad - Bad

Going down to Manchester City, the PL started 2 years later, we must have missed out on loads of cash by getting relegated that season, which in turn with Hall and keegan up the road getting promoted the season after and getting into the PL in its first season, just turned the screw tighter for us fans.

My best memeory will be the one just before I die, when I look back and think no matter what I was with them , I was part of them, all those similar souls who like me congregated at the match, we sang, we chanted, we laughed, we dispaired but we were there, we never left, we never accepted a better offer, we never left for silverwear, we never left for greener grass. We had made our choice, had been given our destiny. We can't change, we can't leave WE ARE SUNDERLAND. I will remember the faces, the shouts, the comments, the love. It's not the football it's the people around you..............watch a game on the telly on your own...........not the same, not even close, it's knowing there are another million mackems just as stupid as you. When you get this, you get football and then you cheer a little louder! HA'WAY THE LADS!

24th February 1979, we beat Newcastle in their own backyard 4-1 with Lord Rowell of Seaham getting a hat trick.

I loved the 1992 semi final against Norwich, David Rush's header was awesome.

And 1973, the pinnacle for so may reason's, winning the FA Cup, who we beat, how we played, Monty's save - glorious day.
