Just read the BBC sports page and they are quoting 2 possible transfers.
1 Robin Van Persie to Citeh for. 15 mill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 Modric to Real for 28 mill !!!!!!!!!

Just last week we read Modric won't move under 50mill, and Van Persie for 15 mill would be the steal of the decade surely.

What's going on ?????????

Seriously, who would buy Modric for £50mil? He's worth £25-30 max!

Even if it's true (which I doubt), what you offer and what it costs are sometimes two different things.
 
Levy will accept less so long as Modric goes abroad basically.

I think that's probably the case for any club - you don't want to strengthen another team in your league unless you have to - and if you have to then you're gonna bleed the other team dry for it.
 
CP--My guess is that sports journo's sit around in their offices, trying to find something to fill their pages! If we'd bought everyone they reported we'd be likely to buy there would be a queue from SB to Craven Cottage!

No doubt about that BM2. There's only about 2 players in Europe, South America and Africa who are not coming next year, and that's Kalou and Boswingha, though apparently The Uzbekistani Daily Times thinks even he's coming back for 15mill!!!!!! We could start our own League.
 
i think paying any more than 15 mill for van persie would be a gamble, he was always out injured for the goons before last season and he is not getting any younger, but then again if he could give you a repeat of what he gave arsenal last season maybe 15 mill is a bargain, just for the one season !!
