Fox'll get better as time goes along in regards to positioning......he is left exposed at times though by Lallana
Sometimes team mates have to cover for the more gifted players...don't remember Tiss being that good tracking back.
CBK and Beddytare are correct in their assessment of inadequate cover for Fox - why this has come about has left me bemused. Added to which Fox is new and playing in a back-four where the left sided centre back is also learning to play with those around him.
It's called... being patient. OK, that's seems cheap to say that, but people are often quicker to criticise than praise, and certainly quicker to react than not react at all. Sometimes it is better to sit and wait for a while.
Was much improved on Saturday. Whips a fantastic ball into the box, hence why Lambert is getting more headed chances. Hopefully with another 2 weeks training under his belt, he'll settle even more.
It's okay, apparently I have had 4 cups of coffee during the day and NO red wine... we'll be fine! I'm really pleased for The Fantastic Mr Fox (see, they made a film about him already).
God, I hope there's never a film called The Fantastic Mr Harding. Or at least if there is, hopefully it turns out the complete opposition to The Fantastic Mr Fox!
I was sat in the Chapel Block 19 on Saturday and every time Fox came across to take a corner kick he was given a rousing reception by the fans in that corner of the ground to show their appreciation. I have not heard one person criticise him whilst at a game
I noticed that in the second half; he seemed to really appreciate that response from you guys over there. Good stuff.
He is Fox but he's not a fox in the box, however he does create plenty of chances for actual foxes in the box, Fox, fox, foxy, I like foxes
