<doh> You just dont know when to stop do you. You know that we are in excellent hands with PJ. You know that we're signing good players. You also know that the club is very well run. As my two very good friends in London who are Arsenal fans told me they both rate him, he's good all over the pitch, he has an attitude problem but Paul Jewell is an excellent man manager. I would see him giving us that little bit of spark but he's by no means a key piece of the jigsaw. Funny you didn't mention the Stockdale signing.

What an absolute non-argument point. All the teams in the premier league are there temporarily. At some point in the future every one of them will be relegated. That is the very nature of sport. Decades ago the likes of Preston, Burnley, Blackpool and Huddersfield were the teams to beat at the top end of the top flight. Things change. If it stayed the same for ever it would be boring.

Our task was to get to the prem. That has been achieved. Our task is now to stay there for as long as possible and finish as high up as possible by winning as many games as we can. Our management have done what they believe will give us the best chance of doing that and I for 1 agree with them.

More nonsense. The world won't last for ever so everything is temporary.

There is a big difference between aiming at Europe and reaching as high as you can and aiming to be in the Premier League for a bit.

If we are as crap as you say we are, we managed to beat you 9-2

So what does that make you guys "still building", what are you building the pyramids? Cos it's going to take you ages at this rate.

What makes me laugh is the trust in Paul jewell. I mean, the guy is beyond crap. Did you hire him because his first name is Paul?

to true hampy, I wonder how many budgies will be singing the praises of this wonder signings come october when it all comes apparent that they can't cope. Also if one (and this is a long shot) does cope and you get relegated (this is definate) they will be snapped up by established prem clubs! so you are not even building for the future. If find very disappointing that the best league in the world will be tarnished by your boards short sighted approach.

More talk about history beefy, because thats exactly what it is history. you done well and we applaud you guys. Now i take it that as you brought up a past event and you want to make history a subject. I'm sure we would all like a discussion about the historical merits of both clubs! <laugh>

I don't Beef, at any point remember saying you were crap? We were dire under Keano but PJ has already brought in eight new players this summer - and a lot of quality - so that is indeed building.

As for the QPR comment - it would be terrible for us to win the Championship wouldn't it?!

    More bloody nonsense.

I meant about the 9-2 beefy! history, past event! we are more than happy to discuss our shortfalls in those 2 games because we were bloody terrible and to be honest any championship would have beat us by the same scoreline. But i thought talking about historic results is banned by norwich supporters, or is that another rule that can be used as and when a budgie is losing an arguement. I happy either way but i just need clarity on what we can and can't discuss!

    Current NCFC history is ok

    Prehistoric ITFC history is banned

Love the comment about any championship team could have beaten you

And they did. Under jewell and keane.

Crap is crap, doesn't matter who's leading

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, typical answer from a budgie! head up own ass syndrome again. Bit like your hypocritical board, will create hell if something is done against them, but are more crooked then chesterfield spire when it comes to approaching contracted personnel!

yorkie, stockdale is a very good keeper. if you'd signed him permanently i'd have been jealous but you must be a bit concerned that he has a 24-hour recall clause. its almost sod's law that schwarzer will get injured now. you will constantly be wondering if he's played his last game for you. if you don't mind that then fair play - very good player either way. he'll certainly have a lot to do with that defence of yours!! ;)

oh, and guru, how come if we mention 9-2 its history, in the past, forgotten about, but its ok for you lot to bang on about something you won before i was born? the 9-2 will be mentioned for a while as its recent history. as soon as the next derby games are played (if you ever play us again) then we'll all be talking about those scorelines.

also, yorkie, i think you have become slightly lovestruck when it comes to jewell. he is a good manager, a steady manager but he is nothing special. he might, one day, get you out of the championship but in all likelihood he won't. yes he won two promotions which is no mean feat, but lets not forget that he inherited steve bruce's team at wigan which was excellent. he didn't need to make wholesale changes though i'll admit he did a fine job. can't remember the situation at bradford but i think he did well there all things considered. looking at your squad i'd say you are about 5 players short of a promotion challenge. lots still to be done then...

But its still history superman, we are only playing by norwich rules debating skills! Before november last year if we mentioned anything about our glory years they were dismissed as history, and past events mean nothing. yet now you lot keep banging on about a past event as though it means everything. you can understand us laughing at your two faced approach to a debate.
