I'd like to see Robertson come back in, and a proper striker up with Hernandez, maybe some rotation in CM but nothing serious. Basically injured players back please, Burnley was a shocker, but every team has shockers and our is normally against Burnley......was about this time last year we lost 1-0 to Palace as well right? They were jenk at the time and last year turned out OK for us in the end

Sagbo needs to come back, as I have stated elsewhere his goalscoring is not the issue we need him to provide a pivot point up front for the other strikers, am hoping Bruce realises his mistake and recalls him.

Meyler is never the answer, unless the question is "which player spends the most time on his arse?"

I know what you mean, but that does seem to accept that we have just one attacking player at our club. Forget Snodgrass, he has never featured and is counted out of any squad thinking. So it's Hernandez and Jelavic, but Hernandez isn't an attacking option? So just Jelly then.

Simple. The players need to perform to there ability and with desire. It is as simple as that.

We would have lost to most of the 92 league clubs playing like that.

For sheer desire and passion you just had to watch the Warrington v Exeter game last friday.

I'd like to see us go at teams. We should have attacked Burnley on Saturday with the talent we have. We defended valiantly against Arsenal and Liverpool but we need a change of tact against Burnley.

So is this down to the players alone?

Could be, Burnsey just said on Talk Sport that he was talking to Mark Pougatch after the game, and he said that when City players were waiting in the tunnel to come out, he got the feeling they were not up for it, as many were complaining it was too cold.

We could play a 6-6-6 formation, but with the sorry amount of desire we displayed on Satdee....

The question was " whats the solution " and within two pages we have the answer. Buy them all some thermal long johns. Sorted. Oh and a good kick up the arse.

Make them get up at 5 am for a 6am start through till Christmas a taste of reality might focus one or two of them.

Completely agree with this, i think personally we need to use Ramirez or Ben Arfa more as in the 3-5-2 we have far to many defensive minded players and i think bringing one of them to will promote that football we did play against Southampton in the first half. But also in that first half we weren't frightened to take a man or run at them something we barely ever did against Burnley.

If that's true, it's absolutely piss poor.

How much are these dickheads on? I'd run around stark bollock naked in the snow if I got paid the amount they do.

Seen it mentioned already, but combining Rosie and Elmo on the right with Brady and Robertson on the left is a good shout.

Sure, it means dropping a striker to maintain a three across the middle set up but it might be enough to give us a creative spark

But only because he totally misinterpreted the OP's question.

Perhaps he should do that more often?
