whats the point

If you register from a different location you are automatically assigned another IP Address.

 

I tried when I was banned last week, ipconfig, release/renew but kept getting the same ip

the only way i found was to use software to force it and when I did change it, i lost my internet connection, had to change back.

so if i get banned im pretty much ****ed because of my ISP

could always get a m8 to sign up an account for me on their comps, as ron has pointed out, but would have to take on a new identity lol

I don't think this site pays attention to IP addresses. I regulalry log in from 3 different IP's. At work, at home, and at her hoose. This site is not using the IP to identify me (which would a dumb thing to do anyway), just my name and pwd.

If you download something like expatshield.com does that not give you a different IP address each time anyway? (I haven't really a clue what I'm on about or if the previous sentence made sense, but I thought I'd share with everybody my exciting thoughts on the matter.)
