I agree. Some of the posts on the other thread about hopes for next season are just completely ridiculous. Things like beating Chelsea twice, winning the Cup and finishing 8th would make you wonder what team they've been watching all season. Our current squad would finish bottom pure and simple. But with the expected signings we can compete to survive. People seem to get carried away very easily.
I think I can realistic say that very few Norwich fans are thinking anything like where or when the next trophy is coming from - I truly believe that. We are a small club, we know our place in the world. It is normally somewhere between the lower half of the PL and top half of the Championship (barring one season hiccups or miracles). If/when we get relegated from the PL, then maybe we will start to think we can bounce back and maybe win the Championship as we did a few years ago, until then or a miracle happens in the PL our feet will be firmly on the ground
