    Alf Wood up top. Millwall must have thought christmas had come early when we bought him for about 100k. He had the turning circle not of a hod carrier, but an aircraft carrier.
    Don Beardsley in defence. I am sure we played him for laughs. Aaron Wilbraham - never turned up did he? Sonko was dire, but he did have one decent game when I thought it was a ringer wearing a Sonko mask.
    Scott Wiseman, loads of promise but not good enough at this level.

    The only two worst I would be confident about naming would be.
    Owner- David Llyod
    Manager - Terry Dolan

    It would be unfair to label Iain Dowie as the worst ever manager as he only had nine games to sort out a shambles.
    It is a mystery how he made a truly poor team into a truly appalling one, but Dolan did that consistently.

    You're absolutely correct, was checking out the squads from 98/99, 99/00 etc.. and some of the crap we had was awful, ... Karl Lightbourne anyone?
