    None of what you've said is supported by anything. The only thing that's confirmed is what the players reported Wiley saying during the match which is what Fergie stated. We lost plenty of games, why pick that one to moan about. Even IF what you say about Wiley deciding to retire at the start of the season (which is pure conjecture) is correct, that only supports what Fergie said. He clearly wasn't up to it otherwise why make that decision.

    I think shambolic defensive performances were the norm for most of the game yesterday :D Chelsea could have had 5 themselves too.

    Stoke could have had 3 or 4, Leicester should have walked out winners by 2 or 3 goals, Everton too were poor.

    Most goals ever scored on New Years Day. or you could put it Worst defending ever in the PL on New years Day. <laugh>
