Twice in this thread you refer to people calling other posters "****s", which is quite ironic considering after my "exit" from JA606, YOU wrote an article calling me one.

Sadly, you found it hilarious to abuse the fact I had a reputation on that board for knowing a bit more about what was going on in our youth ranks than the average fan.

Not only was your article offensive, it was also libellous, and whilst all this shouldn't matter because it's "only" the internet, I remain offended by your appalling behaviour when you knew full well, I did not have the right to reply. No person should ever have written about them what you wrote about me, without the opportunity to respond. It went way beyond acceptable standards of behaviour, so I am personally mortified to see you pop up on here, although I did know you were around because I saw you had checked on my profile.

Watch your step, my legal team are watching.
 
Like a Boas......in light of what SC has just said, you have some explaining to do!
 
I agree with Boss, though I never saw the article that sounds horrific. A full and complete apology to SC will suffice for me, but even then I imagine you won't be received kindly by some other posters.
 
I don't remember calling you a **** so to speak, but you were rather abusive towards me at times if you didn't agree with my opinion and other posters at the end cos you found that 'Good News' article and went mental.

Yeah I am sorry for some of the stuff I might of said but I want an apology for how you just went at me some times just cos you didn't agree with my opinion which is why I retaliated and said some things, not sure I wrote an article though.
 
Spurcat do you have a link to any thing I said? I'm scrolling through my old profile but can't find any thing, I would like to apologise for anything harsh I said though.
 
Spurcat at times will be a bit patronising or throw around the odd "sunshine" (back in the old 606 days) but ONLY in the context of talking about football and exchanging opinions. To me that's just part of a forum. No-one here has to be polite to each other. Thank God.

Slating people's views and saying they don't know what they're talking about (e.g.) is acceptable for me(though perhaps annoying at times). All part of the rough and tumble of talking about football.

But personal attacks and childish (and potentially serious) name-calling - you need to leave that with JA606.

I'm sure I got a "Sunshine..." off of Spurcat on the old 606. So what? If I was gonna be offended by being patronised now and again I wouldn't talk to people who are older than me and know their stuff better than me. I'd rather people like him were around to debate with than kids running around talking ****.
 
Any way I gotta go now and I'm so sorry Spurcat I just looked through post histories on JA606 and it seems you didn't do much wrong when you got booted off the site, from what they were saying I thought you had gone mental on it, it was unjust what I said. Hope we can move on and have decent debates about Tottenham etc <confused>

I edited what I said cos I wasn't exactly sure what I said, searched through JA606 for quite a while so I could apologise for what I actually said but couldn't come across any thing.
 
Like a Boas,this is your chance to start again and forget any nastiness from the past. There's some bloody good football debate on this site and I admit that I'm learning from the lads. I don't remember you from the old 606 but let's not remember you on here because of something detrimental ok. Enjoy the site.

Sorry? does sorry cover it? there was intent behind the initial accusation, so if everytime your opinion is pushed, as you previously put, protecting rubbish players, you are likely to turn out just about the worst thing you can say about someone. If said with intent outside, it could mean the whoever is on the receiving end has their life ruined and made to move house. That kind of potential reaction is about as welcome as piles.
 
Well he may have acted like a twat in the past. But JA606 is a place where there is a lot of twattery. I could believe that someone could act like a penis on that site but, in a different context where insults, smileys and childishness are not the norm, could be considerably more reasonable and respectful.

Remember - this is a public forum and what you write on here stays here forever, potentially. It's not like muttering silly bullshit to your mate in private.
 
This board is far less tolerant of childish insults. We tend to moderate ourselves pretty well, giving our mods less of a need to ban posters.

With JA606, there seems to be little point in attempting to engage anyone in meaningful debate, since it's little more than a constant wumfest.

In other words, the kind of aggressive/offensive wummery that Like A Boas may have displayed over at JA606 simply would not be tolerated here.

I hardly ever visit JA606, and I certainly cannot pass any comment on how Like A Boas acted over there, so I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt, over here. Everyone deserves a second chance, in my book.
 
I acted like a twat on JA606, to get in the clique you have to be a bit of a twat otherwise it's quite boring over there.

Barely get a football discussion without it resorting to <diva> and rambling, hence why I wanna be on this site to just talk football when I've got the time as I'm starting a new job soon and it will keep me sane at times to talk about footie and not rim jobs.
 
I got my butt kicked a few times on ja 606 before someone took offence about my remarks and kicked me off.
I suppose I will get my butt kicked a few times on not 606 inthe future.But you do get a chance to air your views on here.
They do say this is a free country and these viewers on here will give you enough rope to hang one's self......short of being downright stupid!!!!
 
So JA606 is full of twats and everyone is childish over there but you still got banned??

Doesn't sound good for you. And now you're here and already dividing opinion.
