http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35495127 Now this getting out of hand, Vardy is having a good season - but comparisons with Van Basten I dont think so
... priceless ... what a plum!! ... Riyad can't defend to save his life ... Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have been involved in more goals than any other Premier League player ... here's the top 3 for education purposes and perhaps stem the loss of credibility you are currently experiencing before it is too late ... ... do me a favour ... Alli is a good player I'll admit ... but he's more akin to a upgraded Jermaine Jenas or Kieran Dyer ... have you actually watched that Mahrez footage? ... if Alli can do anything close to that I'll eat Polly's kettle ... ... there is no other dribbler in the EPL that can hold a candle to Mahrez currently h- he absolutely petrifies defenders... I'm enjoying watching him whilst we can because he sure as hell is gonna get snapped up by one of the very top clubs in Europe at some point ...
You've already posted that and it doesn't prove anything, other than the fact that Vardy and Mahrez score most of your goals. Hardly surprising when your main tactics is to sit back and use their pace on the break, is it? What does that have to do with being an entertaining or expansive side? You seem to be completely unable to understand virtually anything on this thread, unfortunately. Anything other than blind adoration for Leicester and the way that you play is treated as some sort of vile slur. Simple observations about your style of play, which are easily backed up by evidence, are viewed as criticism and vitriol. So very weird.
Anyone would have thought that Fossil sees the term "chip-and-rush" as being derogatory! It's actually a very useful tactic - as LCFC are proving all too readily! The only thing I am questioning is whether they can last the distance using only that tactic? They seem to be doing okay so far. But, barring the odd spectacular strike, there isn't much to cheer about this style of play.
Maybe that's because we don't have an over reliance on the same 2 players to score and create goals, we have twice as many players with more than 3 goals scored, and as for assists they are the worlds most pointless stat (IMHO)!
I agree. With chip-and-rush, an "assist" is something of hit-and-miss affair, anyway. "Let me lump the ball forward, and see if the striker can latch on to it... No, not this time? Okay, then, lads...let's defend the turn-over, and I'll give it another go. I might get lucky next time, and get myself an "assist.""
It would be great to have the Spanners and Watford join Leicester and us in the top 4, this season. I think that would make the neutrals very happy.
