I am appalled at the poor level of morality demonstrated by the people who voted. Over half voted to say you should keep something which is not yours. In life there are two things that you can never restore with your friends once you are found out. No one will ever believe you again or will always be suspicious of you if you are caught out in a lie and no one will trust you if you are seen to be dishonest. So return the money Wisescummer or I will always consider you to be dishonest.
Well this cannot be left up in the air. We all need to know what you have decided to do Wisescummer so that we can decide whether you have earned our admiration and respect or our admonishment.
It's not that dishonest, he's already given them a huge profit by buying a season ticket in the first place. Robin Hood it.
I think there's only two courses of action really. Return the money to Southampton Football Club. or Give it to charity Pocketing £25 pounds or so just seems a bit stingy. Conversely, Southampton are probably one of the most financially secure football club in the Premiership (along with Arsenal) therefore the most beneficial option would be to give it to charity, particularly a smaller charity.
We have a winner! Follow this link Chilco to your prize. Post 111. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/149262-Picture-Link?p=3098717#post3098717
I don't give to animal charities, but it's lucky we are all different as there are so many good causes.
I am a great supporter of Dr Barnardo's as I have known many children whose lives have been turned around by this wonderful charity.
All charities are worthwhile. Except the ones which are scams obviously If you are wanting to give to an international development charity, I would recommend Transaid. They're quite small but the work they do is essential for achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
£1250 prize money, which after moderation, as it's the Portsmouth board nets you, £25. You can pay off Southampton for Wisey! Have a go on the picture link while you are there.
Whatever he decides to do he has a duty to let us know what he has decided as he started this thread and asked our opinion with a poll.
Have a look at the votes Gods, it's a public vote and he's elected to keep it. I chose that option too, as Southampton have enough money as it is, so a charity could really use that. Think of how many carrots you could buy with a pony.
Technically, I asked what you guys would do. Anyway, as far as I see it the club has had two opportunities to get the correct price, firstly by getting the website set up properly, and secondly when it came to accepting my offer. The way I read it the law is on my side as well. Just for the avoidance of doubt i'll probably send an email off tomorrow though.
