Doing a levels myself at the moment, I'd say do revision before the game that day and after the game, and go to the game, so you can have a break from revision, cos revising non stop all day is unproductive and literally impossible to focus! Plus should be a great game!
I turned up for Maths pure exam after just getting back from Lisbon after England lost to France. Turned out my exam wasn't Maths but geography and I'm doing fine now and happy I went to the footy ignoring my exam.
From a finacial point of view you must be totally focused on your A Level. Forget football. If you mess up you will have to resit. That means another year before you get to University and you will then have started work a year later than you planned. That means one year's salary thrown away which could be £30,000.00. You're a big boy now so you have to weigh it all up and decide for yourself.
Cheers for the responses guys some good arguments from either side. I had already pretty much decided not to go just because if it goes wrong I dont want to be blaming this decision even though it probably won't have that much to do with it in the end. Anyway just interesting to see peoples opinions on the life/football balance aha! Back to work now as some of you have helpfully pointed out.
Seems to me that you can make a last minute decision on this one. If you have put in a good shift of revision then I can't think of a better release* than going to the match. It's a few years since I had to do any, but I used to get to the point where I had done enough and sitting for any longer was counterproductive. Good luck, whatever you choose.
