Should be fine if he's with a few banks. He can just palm 10 grand off in each account. Or I could run it through the business for a 25% fee
If he’s got no history of depositing chunks of cash into his account then he’ll raise a red flag even sticking 10 bags in. The FCA and proceeds of crime and all that. I’ll rinse it for him for 12.5% though
Fair enough. It was your repeated tantrums about putting me and a few others on ignore that made me think that but as you’ve been caught out lying so many times I should have assumed you were fibbing again. Vroom vroom!
One deposit could be the sale of a car or anything. Not sure what the limit is for flagging up deposits, I wouldn't mind knowing and I'd hazard a guess it will be around the 10k mark. 12%
Open accounts with all the big bookies and bet a couple of grand cash in shops a time on 'sure things' ... PSG, Barca, Real, Celtic games .. Formula 1 motorised procession ... Spurs not winning the title ... ask for winnings to go into bank account viai debit card ... sure you'll lose a few ... but overall you'll get most of it in ... patience required
I know a lad who got caught out cleaning his money in a bookies. He was just putting it on the roulette. Backing both red and black with a tiny stake on green.
There is no set limits for banks, they’re obliged to report anything that appears outside of the ‘norm’ for a particular account. If the flag goes up then you might have to prove the cash is kosher e.g. receipts, proof of sale etc.
Could always stick it in the bank in increments of £1k - £1.5k per month. That would just look like a very modest income from a job.
Hate to tell you, Fossie, but the authorities have been wise to washing money through betting outlets since the 1960’s Playboy club were the first to get found out.
Told NOBODY I had found it. *** Hand it in to the police saying where/when I found it. AFAIK after a period of time, if they cannot show the money has come to be via criminal activity, and nobody can credibly claim it, the money is yours by law. *** This is due to a sad tale I heard as a kid, from my folks time.
Mate of mine found a decent stash of drugs and sold them. I'd be very careful if I were you as its obviously dodgy. Do nothing for quite a long time and don't bank it.
Did Jury service a few years ago and one of the cases was trying a bloke who’d found around 15kg of weed stuffed in bin bags down on coldblow lane near Millwall’s old ground. He was just posting small amounts to mates of his and freaked out when he saw a police car near the post office, so he went over to them and fessed up. The Old bill nicked him and the CPS brought a prosecution for possession with intent to supply. He was looking at a stretch given the amount he had stashed. We found him not guilty. The bloke was clearly a flake and obviously wasn’t a drug dealer. Poor bloke was in tears in the dock. I was a bit ****ed off with the CPS for bringing that case to be honest. Waste of time and money and caused the poor bloke untold stress.
Coppers refer to the CPS as “the Criminal Protection Society.” I know, because I speak to the cops a lot, as you know, Pix.
Bright enough to have your number 99.99% of the time Quentin ... how did the Right Said PDED Thread go in the end?
