    Yes, best wishes to you and yours, TSS. What I would wish for myself is a long life, a short illness and a peaceful exit. I have seen too much advanced old age to see any merit in it for its own sake. For your mother to get to 99 with a decent quality of life is fantastic. All the best, CF

    99 is fabulous and to have been pretty hearty too. Lovely sentiment to realise it is about what us good for her not you and your siblings. When I lost my mum we had a bit of a struggle getting other family members to see that point of view.
