    What would happen if Southampton draw 1-1 with Coventry and West Ham beat City 3-0 on Saturday? Both clubs would have the same points, same goal difference and same goals scored. Would they have to settle it with pistols at dawn between Nigel Atkins and Big Sam? My money's on Nigel - he'll have more to aim at!

    Saints would go up on head to head results.

    Saints 1-0 West Ham
    West Ham 1-1 Saints

    If all is level on points, GD, GS it then goes to the head to head results between the two clubs this season. Saints would finish higher due to the fact they beat WH 1-0 and the other was a draw.
