It is, a lot of headphone and audio stuff is based on the law of diminishing returns. I've listened to headphones that cost a grand+ and compared to my £350 pair they're not 3 times better as the price would suggest.
£0 for the phone the ****ers want a monthly fee so no chance and I'd pay £20 max monthly. TV £500 Pint £5
Phone £0 free phone £50 a month tops. TV Usually impulse on Black Friday or something. Shoes my most expensive is £460 for my Gucci Coda. Wifey has more spenny ones. Tickets for football usually £720 Ish for ST each. Pint, **** knows. £7 would probably make me call the bar man a ****. Lunch out £30 each is usually the going rate. Dinner out £50 each without the drinks, I can't stand poxy high end ****e so avoid places like that if I can. Weekly food shop £150 Waxing my snotcha £25 per month Holidays £5k roughly Hair cut £22 every 3 weeks Gym £95 + £17 (two gyms) Baby stuff £700,000 per week
My last two tellies have been given to me. Current one's boss, my mate had only had it for 6 months when he upgraded and gave me his castoff. I wouldn't spend big on a telly, **** that. I'm planning on spending between 2 and 3 grand on a record deck, amp and speakers this year. Back to vinyl in style for this 70's throwback Don't spend heaps on clothes - I used to be a market trader, and once you see the mark-up they put on schmatte, you won't ever want to pay retail. Some kid in the Far East knocks it up for £1.50 a day, and they sell it in Reiss for nose bleed prices. Utter ****ing racket. Shoes, though, have to be the best. Still got a pair of Churches brogues I bought in 1986 (been resoled a few times). Loakes loafers, Clarkes Desert Boots which aren't expensive but are quality; and DMs of course, always have at least one pair of them. Anyone over thirty who wears running shoes for anything other than running, wants shooting imo.
More tickled than rattled, really. The hairdressers in leary shirts who seem to make up a large % of Utd's support, are considerably less annoying than their legion of fans from Andover and Penge
Phone is £60 a month contract My TV cost a grand Shoes probably about £200 Clothes, depends on what it is, max probably about £50 a t shirt/polo, more for jeans and jackets/coats Pints round here vary from £4-£5 depending where you go (not including places like Wetherspoons) Used to pay £20 a month for gym but sacked it off as I couldn't be bothered getting there everyday and just bought all the **** and have a home gym. Dunno what else to include really, will easily spend £80-£150 on a night out drinking, hair cut every 6 weeks or so is £25 with them sorting the beard out, never do food shops just pick something up on my way home normally so no idea what my weekly spend is on that.
Phone - Zero, never paid for a mobile in my life. Always had contract phones, if I am taking out a one or two year contract at £30 a month, then I aint paying hundreds of pounds for the handset. Pint - £4 I guess, though I dont drink beer. More a Vodka man. Beer tastes of **** and makes me piss all night, plus I get hangovers from beer. Vodka is clean. Trainers/shoes - No more than £120 really, though I begrudge paying even that when you know damn well that they cost about $4 to make, and the factory in which they were made is staffed by philipino kids who get paid 50 cents a day with no toilet breaks. Most expensive thing I have ever bought (except my house and car), is probably my PC, which cost me £1300. But thats because its a kick arse gaming PC. Or atleast it was 18 months ago, technology moves so damn fast
2\3 grand on a record deck. Must admit I like vinyl. Like the range off shoes though. Although I'm more than happy to wear my Adidas sambas
