What all this fuss girls? Surely you can live with the 'DragonBirds' nickname? I'm getting upset with all this anti Dragon!..................
'Micky Mouse fans' Haven't you redtits cornered the market on that one!....................... ..............................
It's so nice to be loved, more Swans on our pages than theirs. Edit. Pity they don't know that their emblem is a MUTE Swan.
The first thing you need to understand Daiswan is, we don't care what you think!, the second thing you need to know is, we don't care what you think! Hope that's clear.
They are sending in the clowns from the other clubs now lol. The matter is closed we have an important game Saturday we would do well to concentrate on that. jck
Now do you really want cardiff to be a laughing stock or do you fight for the return of your true identity... Meet the Dragons Playing and Training The GFSN The GFSN League We are the Cardiff Dragons, Walesâs first and only gay-friendly football team. The team was set up over three years ago by a group of guys who love playing football and wanted to create a team free from homophobia, a safe space where anyone can play, regardless of sexuality. We currently play in the Gay Football Supporters Network (GFSN) league against teams from all over the country from as far afield as Nottingham, London, Edinburgh and Newcastle. We play in a league against GFSN teams from the South-West, and also compete in 5-a-side tournaments throughout the country. We are currently the SouthWest 5-a-side champions after our 1st team were triumphant in the annual Bristol 5-a-side tournament in February 2011. The team is not just about playing, the social side of football is important to us. We are currently sponsored by WoW and after our matches we return there for food and drinks. We try to vary our social events, whether itâs out on the gay scene, watching a football match, bowling, or whatever people want to do. Weâre well aware that not everyone wants to go out on the gay scene all the time. We also run regular fundraisers to subsidise our costs, plus 25% of everything we raise goes to the Terence Higgins Trust. Manager Murray Harvey says; âI always wanted to play for a gay team as I had been playing for local teams and felt like I was lying to my team-mates. It is also important to me as it creates social opportunities different to the often narrow gay scene.â Dragonsâ Chairperson Dave Amos says; âItâs my belief and the belief of the club that we offer football for all with no discrimination of any sort. Our club is about offering a chance to play football in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Whether you want to be competitive, just play for fun or just come along for the social side and support the team we hope to offer these opportunities for you.â So whether youâre serious about your football or you just fancy a kickaround, drop us an email or just come along to a training session. Click here to find out where and when we train. The Dragons welcome players of all genders, sexualities and all abilities.
I have never seen a fan in so much denial.. sbff don't misinterprete that us jacks care because as the saying goes...we are alright jack...Its your fans you know the long term fans that i feel sorry for and not idiots like you who dont care to hoots what happens to the bluebirds.....prey tell if you think its great then tell us what the shirt colour change has achieved that the true blue one didn't. and don't come out with that old pony it was unlucky because the Malaysian national team play in blue, and what will any name change gain other than giving the Malaysians their own identity.......what a shame it wont be the bluebird name that finally made it to the premiership....but hey if you don't care then that's fine....you will be in the small minority of kids who don't know any better and not a full blooded Bluebird....and certainly a jack who will fight for our club...
Close the thread please mods. Vt's words have started and finished this debate. Now it's full of morons who should be on the banter thread
