What will Tony do? Now that's a difficult one but I am guessing ... based on his recent behaviour... I think he will buy a horse
Have you any idea how much money it would cost to get rid of him now instead of 3 months time, all for the faint chance a new guy might improve this team so much that he brings them up? Sorry but some of the stuff talked on here these days is just pure nonsense. Strolls, if it were your hard-earned I doubt you'd be so blase about chucking into other people's pockets.
Well, I hope I'm wrong Staines, but I think we're on a downward spiral that Redknapp is incapable of reversing. On current form we won't even make the play-offs.
Sacking him now is effectively giving up on any hope of promotion. We wouldn't even make the playoffs if we get rid of our manager at this stage.

Thanks for that witty, informative piece there bruv...Missed you like piles on my arsehole. (now where is that 'hand making masturbation gesture' smily when i need it ?)
Great post. You know how I feel about him mate, but I don't think it is fair to change manager and expect the new man to get promotion. If we were to change in order to start a new approach, and effectively write off promotion this year, gets the kids in from loans and give them a chance, I might think differently. But we are still far too close to doing it for that to be sensible. The next change of manager has to come with a clear sense of : - what the club stands for in terms of football and its relationship to its fans - the style of football that we play at every level of the club - the type of players we develop and recruit to fit in with that style ......then you know the type of manager /coach you need. It's the Ajax/Barca model (without implying that you play the same type of football or do it on the same scale) and it breeds identity.
The last three years. I was happy with Warnock in champ I was not happy with him in the PL even before we played a game. I was not happy with Hughes I was not happy with redknapp. Now what's wrong with that? I think my views were justified. Of course I'm not going to be happy with 2.5years of failure. Of course I will be unhappy if we appointed Paul hart for example. Anyway the rumour is redknapp is gone tomorrow according to a lfw poster who's made works at the times.
I would agree with all of this Stan and I would hope that TF is thinking along the same lines. If he already has someone in mind to deliver this, why not take the plunge now? I don't believe Redknapp can get us promoted, and a new man just might. No-one is going to blame him if he doesn't.
He should have put his hand in his pocket during the window, instead of getting in loan players do don't give a ****.
Who is available if Harry is out the door tomorrow?... A new manager with none of his own players to change things round would be up against it, especially with our nearest challengers all showing form. Unless Harry is quitting of his own choice it would be writing off this season when we still have a chance (however small) of at least being in the play-offs. The time for change will be in May when our fate is decided and we plan for the PL or Championship next season...
Malky Mackay Roberto di Matteo Gianfranco Zola and tongue in cheek - Paolo Di Canio or even:- January 16, 2014 Luigi De Canio has been sacked as coach of Catania after just three months in charge. He doesn't seem to stay very long with any Italian team, but I enjoyed the style of play he inspired while with us. please log in to view this image Luigi De Canio only arrived in October
