So the transfer deadline is tomorrow, we are desperate for a forward imo and a couple of extra's for strength and depth.
I dont believe our current crop of forwards [bar Carroll] are good enough and if we had brought in an extra forward earlier maybe we would be sitting on an extra 4 points from the last 2 games we played.

I still thought we could have tried to loan Yakubu cos when fit he is a decent player.
Has anybody heard any rumours with in the last few hrs?????

Finally I would normally be confident about Carroll staying put however with fat mike i am not so sure, I think if spurs put in a better offer he has gone hope I am wrong but i have a feeling our crown jewel will be sold and we will bring in some one crap like Jason roberts and Pardew trying to sell him to us by saying he has bags of experience.

Carroll will be here beyond tomorrow night, I am 97% sure.

I hope we sign a striker, but assuming we sign Ireland, I am not disappointed with our business this month.

Tbh i wouldnt mind if no more business was done, Ben Arfa back in a couple of weeks, stick Nolan up front with Joey Irland and Jonas switchin between the three positions

Probably David Craig standing outside the Sunderland training ground and all of us lot looking disappointed at 11 o clock with a smug David Craig crowing about Sunderland signing a new striker that no one saw coming. That's what usually happens isn't it.

if we had money i would love hugo rod, but it would be more likely someone in the proce range of roberts. could see hugo joining sunderland to be honest. cant see us doing anything else

i dont see us bringing in any strikers, we have loven, ranger, shola, carroll and best.... plus with them (skysources) letting xisco go out on loan we wont be bringing any in.

i was suprised we let routledge go on loan, we dont really have any fit natural wingers with gosling, lua lua and ben arfa injured...

ireland showed good form while at city, had a few injuries since joining villa, and hopefully see him hit some form back....

Well tomorrow WONT bring in a decent centre forward to replace Caroll if all we hear is true about Cashley getting his greedy mitts on more casino cash
