They're the ones who ate all the pies <whistle> and can't afford a ticket to Anfield or Mold Trafford <ok> only joking only joking

As far as I'm concerned the longer Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Everton stay up the easier it is for me to get to away games haha I don't want any of them to go down (except the bitters obviously). Imagine replacing 3 of those with fecking Southampton, West Ham and Brighton...<doh> was bad enough getting Swansea, Norwich and QPR ffs.

They were both playing at Leeds at the time so had nothing to do with NUFC, not saying what they did was right but it was some time down the road when they joined NUFC.

We'd know it was a false accusation coz no way could Voronin have gotten within 10 yards of Evra 10 times during a game <whistle>

There is a world of difference. Black people call each other ******s all of the time. It's a racist word, if a white man calls a black man a ******, not only is it a racist word but the white man is being racist.

So I take it you were there and heard all of the proceedings if you know that Suarez was banned on little or no evidence?

I'm sorry but they wouldn't just ban someone for the hell of it. There must have been sufficient evidence.

I don't know why the FA haven't released the evidence yet, maybe they will soon.

In that case Suarez should have been made aware that such a term is offensive in England. If you live in a country you have to abide by that Country's rules.

It doesn't matter if Suarez is a racist or not, using a racist word is wrong.

You read intent in my post that wasn't there. I have not stated that I know guilt or innocence in fact read over my recent posts & you'll find I've been deliberately neutral BECAUSE I haven't viewed the evidence. I just find the "he's been found guilty so there must be evidence" a truly worrying stance to take in relation to what is a mans career & reputation.

And again I'm assuming here; but I'm fairly sure you'd ask the same questions if it was your player.

I just find it hard to believe that they would give someone a lengthy ban if there wasn't sufficient evidence.

Does anyone know when a verdict will be made on John Terry? There would appear to be a stronger case against him so I would expect a harsher punishment than that given to Suarez.

True but you have to remember that the Commission is not like a court of law. If it was a Court of Law, then the case would have been dismissed straight away without evidence.

The Commission are able to reach a verdict and punishment just on opinion - sounds silly but not unrealistic in an attempt to send out a strong message towards racism.

Apparently the CPS will make a statement this afternoon regarding this matter.

This one should be interesting: on one hand I believe Terry is lucky that his case is being handled by a body designed to do this with no obvious political pressures or agendas.

On the other if the CPS cones back with not enough evidence to prosecute or Terry is innocent where does that leave the FA? And if that means they can't slap a ban on him is it going to destroy the perception of the stance they've be seen to take?

Of course as someone else posted. If terry is charged & found guilty 8 matches could be small fry compared to the possible career ending ban the courts could give.

Liverpool should just appeal if they don't agree with the verdict. I haven't yet heard anyone saying they will appeal.

I find it quite amusing that Reds are trying to hide behind the interpretation element. This was a heated game between 2 clubs that hate each other.

Are you really naive enough to think whatever Suarez said was not to provoke and anger his opponent?!!?!?

Regardless of what Evra calls himself or what his firends do, Suarez knew that by saying what he said would wind up Evra. He assumed he wouldn't get caught but he has so he should take the punishment. This doesn't in itself make him a 'racist' but that's not how he will be thought of from here on in.

Good point - that is something that I concerned with. How will the FA act if Terry is found guilty by the CPS? Will they continue to ban him and add to the prosecution?

If the CPS find him innocent, does that mean the FA won't punish him because if professional law enforcement can't find anything to stick to him, how can the FA?
