wasting your time talking to Deidre about semantics...he like most Chavs lacks the depth of knowledge about Football to be able to have a real conversation with
Interesting you say that, as I can see those 3 missing out on top 4. Man Utd have OSG, Chelsea a transfer ban amd probably losing Hazard, and Arsenal have their weakest side since George Graham. There's a decent chance one of the Mid-table mediocrity can snatch that last place, and there'll be fewer poor decisions in favour of the 'big six'.
They'll all improve, Chelsea will probably worm out of it and it'll be the usual bunch fighting for those spots.
everyone will improve, as everyone has a bit of cash. Wolves have a bit more cash, Everton have a bit more cash, Leicester, West Ham etc.
So City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Utd? I mean fair enough you don’t fancy us to do well but surprised you’re writing your own team off after this season.
Sorry I mean the top 4 will be Liverpool then City and 2 from Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal. #gettingcocky
I can see ‘Pool having a nightmare season, next season. I’m not saying that you definitely won’t make top 4, but I can’t see you being anywhere near the title.
Much less risk owning an NFL team than a football team. Guaranteed to always be in top flight. 20 or so teams spread out over 400 million people instead of 100+ professional football teams spread out over 70 million people in UK. Spurs will never be worth what an NFL team is worth and can't really justify as expensive a stadium... Maybe if they only played a dozen games a season like an NFL team does it would be easier to fill up the stadium.
The most important part for them is keeping Poch. He's a good eye for players and tactics. If he stays they can rebuild.
I think it depends on injuries. We didn't have many injuries this season and were amazing. If VVD, TAA and Salah were injured at same time, we would flop. We don't have much depth. Our first XI is as good as anyone, but our second string players aren't good enough... That's the difference between us and city. They've got two excellent players for each position we've got one. How well we do next year depends on how many injuries we get.
