    3 games left, 3 points off relegation (and Bolton have a game in hand). 2 tricky away ties and Spurs, who are chasing Champions League. Will be an interesting finish.

    Mcleish has previous in dragging a Birmingham Club from mid-table to relegation. Seems like he specializes in it.

    To be fair he has had the bad luck of having a chairman/owner/board who have been strapped for cash on those occasions.

    English football needs a healthy spread across the regions - no Yorkshire teams in teh Premier LEague since Leeds relegation gives RL teams a boost. The midlands, especially in LEicester and Northampton is becoming a RU hotbad, so it's vital for a top class football club to remain in this area.
