I'm with you Norway. Profit admits he likes to take the piss,but we have to accept it. When we take the piss,our mods go into let's protect profit mode. It's not on. If I want to wind the bastard up,I'll do it.They can delete if they want,as I suppose they feel they have a right. I had too many posts deleted by the mods of late,yet he goes unscathed.It appears to me that they could be blue blooded. I like you as well,Scott,but I don't think much of your modding. If anyone doesn't like to read my posts,pass them by,it's what I do with ones I don't find interesting,etc.That's just as easy as me having to use the PM button.
No it's not Vetch, because in the last thread there was racism, which may be acceptable to some but it's not to me. I left the last threads up for ages BECAUSE you and Norway harp on about our over-zealous modding. What were we rewarded with? A bitch fest. I'm not playing favourites, I'm deleting and removing stuff that is blatantly offensive. If you, or anyone else, has more stuff removed that's because you've posted more offensive stuff. All of the stuff in the last thread was tit-for-tat and you were going back and fore, so I thought "let's see if they reach an amicable solution" but no, that would be too grown up. However, once something has gone nasty, I can and will stop it reappearing on the Swans forum. As I've said, this is the last thread about your/Blue Prophet's/Norway's love in, and if more get created they will be deleted. I hope Prophet stays away from this thread, but if it ends up like the first thread it'll be deleted. As I've said, if you've an issue with Prophet, PM him. If you've an issue with my modding, PM me. This isn't stuff that should be in the public domain as it's all stemmed from something between you and one other poster, and it's now personal, and EVERYONE apart from you, Norway and Prophet (although I suspect he's as sick of it as me) is interested in it.
Think I started this by giving the Profit of Doom both barrels having seen through his original 'What Went Wrong?' post. Whereas I agree with Scott that things can get out of hand it mustn't be forgotten that: 1: The post doesn't reflect his true views about the Swans (the evidence being his history on here and 606). He has repeatedly posted photos of caravans and often refers to us as 'gypos' and 'peg-sellers'. At one point over half the threads began by him on the Cardiff board were taking the piss out of our Club or criticising us in some other way. I therefore cannot accept his assertion that he wants to 'see the Swans do well' or that he would 'get no satisfaction from seeing the Swans fall below Cardiff'. It's bollocks, and that's why he gets short shrift from some of us. Not necessarily because of his views but because of him having more faces than Big Ben. 2: Profit has been totally vile towards certain posters in the past, particularly Vetch, who has even been accused publicly of liking 'little African boys'! You cannot expect Vetch to be nice to this guy in those circustances. I can only hope that he doesn't come over here again as the reaction he gets doesn't warrant the trouble.
HTR I appreciate what you are saying, but as the old saying goes, it takes two to tango if they just ignore each other there be nothing to argue about! As for the pictures of gypsys and caravans etc, I think we give as good as we take, its open market when that happens IMO , but still there is a limit to banter and it crosses that limit all to often ! I am fully with Scott on this, if a post or thread crosses the line it will be removed or deleted, as I said above there are no rules on the GC forum, if you want abuse people go there, it reciprocated by the people who lurk there.
HTR,I don't think any apology is necessary. You saw through him,as did I,but I kept out of it until he provoked me. As someone stated,he could have joined an existing thread to pose his "what went wrong" question. Perhaps it would have been better all around if he had. However,his agenda is to be confrontational,and to seek as much attention,as possible,hence the independent thread. He is as transparent as a piece of cling film. It's an ego thing with him.He is such a "hero" on his own Board,posting all his "I'm in the know nonsense","Direct line to The White House",etc. Note to self. Beware making ironic statements,lest I get chastised. Where was I,ah yes,he has to visit here,be controversial,try to win a few hands,etc.,to maintain the adoration of the sheep on the bloob Board,and there's a lot of them over there. Unfortunately,he is not as revered over here as he would like to think,and he usually gets his ass kicked,and beats a hasty retreat,after,of course,insulting as many people as he can count. He is then seen as the victim,which is just what he wanted. He then returns to Rover Way as the hero of the hour. Like you,I also wish he would stay away.This place does NOT benefit from his attention,in any way. Those who like him can always go up the M4,perhaps on The Greyhound,and indulge themselves reading his anti Swansea rhetoric.

I have been avoiding threads for weeks, because this conversation is just around the corner on every thread. I am interested in talking about football, and so when every time I come on here, there is a childish argument going on about who is the biggest name caller, I leave straight away. There are very few threads that are purely about football anymore, and this will put people off from joining what is already a very quiet board. You may enjoy the banter of racist slurs and the like, but I am fairly confident most people don't, and that will directly affect the amount and quality of posters. I didn't use a PM, because it is a general message to everyone, and like my old Maths teacher used to say, "I'm not gonna name names, you know who you are".

Scotty has over reacted to the term 'JewBoy' and as for Jager, his moderating is clearly hypocritical, after his numerous aggressive postings on here over the last few weeks, and all this has fallen into the hands of Prophet. Both Scotty and Jager have disappointed me, with the way they take the moderating far too seriously, if as they say they want to concentrate on footy only threads, then fine just move your butts onto those only, but Scotty's reaction to Norway's thread was nothing short of ridiculous. Fully concur with both SS99,and Dragon. I am very disillusioned by Scott and Jager,and find a complete lack of consistency in their actions. Unfortunately,I am not fully in the picture with regards the rules that the mods have to follow. Perhaps someone can explain why it is that a visittor can behave in an aggressive,insulting manner,but we appear to be restrained in our retort.That cannot be right,and merely plays into the hands of the likes of profit,and as recently observed,aber. If we cannot support/defend a fellow Swansea supporter when the circumstances dictate,then that's a very sad reflection on this Board. Only recently,profit was on here complaining that there was a lack of "irony" on this Board. The very next post was Jager agreeing with him. Then subsequently,Jager complains about ironic posts,and even mods them. I'm damned if I'm going to walk on eggshells.If anyone comes on here insulting,me,my City,my Football Club,or my fellow Jacks,then they run the risk of receiving something in kind. If I'm the only one who feels this way,then so be it.
leon- There are 16 out of 21 artiicles that are of a serious/football only nature where there is no bitching or name calling . There are 3 articles of a non football nature . the rugby world cup. the movember-prostate cancer charity and the jackonory funny thread. There are 2 locked. the origional "what went wrong" and my "what went wrong "part 2 these threads are the only ones that have contained any kind of"banter" my thread contained no harmful or abusive language what so ever yet was locked. Now if its football and football only you want then there are plenty of topics to choose from where the talk is just that . I respect your views as a poster on here and hope that i dont offend you when i make light hearted comments from time to time , i mostly stick purely to the football myself leon , there is the odd moment when i have a laugh but thats what its all about, there shouldnt be restrictions on what content you write, that is not freedom of thought ,sometimes humour brings people together and creates a good camaraderie amongst fellow posters, this was a strength of the old 606. People are saying that petty name calling etc is destroying the forum ,NOT TRUE! what will destroy the forum is the censorship of saying what you think when you think it, right or wrong! there are of course bounderies for this , thats where good moderation and not personal grudges should weed out what is offensive.This does not happen ,there is a tendency to cure the headache by cutting off the head ! For a forum to grow it takes all kinds of personalities with different views, ive lost count of the times daiswan took stick off many people(including the mods) for having a different view point and was mocked as a result, yet that bullying behaviour was ok because the majority thought differently to him, he has actually been proven right in some cases with some of his views but thats besides the point .We all think differently and we all have a right to air our views ,sometimes things get heated but thats because we all love the swans !! Ive had arguments with nearly every poster on here on threads concerning our team but my respect for them has only increased as a result of the debate. You form bonds with fellow posters when you are able to enjoy the good the bad and the ugly !! not when its boring and sterile!! there arnt many on here who i couldnt sit down with and enjoy a pint and a chat about football with , having banter and fun on here replicates the terrace humour . you wouldnt stop it at a football match would you? In days gone by i would enjoy being on the north bank just to hear the random comments from supporters in the crowd!sometimes the banter was better than the football! Taking the p!ss is as much a part of football as the football itself , we must never forget this!!
