Correction, not sectarian views, my observational views. So are you ready yet to show a credible definition purporting the term as an offensive bigoted description of the Protestant comunity?

Edit: My sisters fianncee is Presbyterian and he is dead on as hell, never referred to him once as a hun. When I saww the images of the protestant rioting at the disgraceful removal of flags <laugh> I called them huns. What is the difference? Oh yes, the presence of violence, or the involvement of "barborous and destructive persons". <ok>

Whether I failed History at school is of no business of your's. Thankfully I didn't go to State School because judging by the like of your narrow minded and
bigoted views, I would not have had the education I got.
However School History that you raised, has no views on what the current British Soldier is like. I can decide that because I have lived and been aware of
their actions since they invaded the occupied 6 in the early '70's and soon became the intelligence of your friends.
We are getting a clearer picture every year of what they have been up to. Of course we also know of their actions in the other areas they invaded more recently.

You'd literally be better explaining that to a brick wall. It would be absorbed more and the wall would take more time to consider it than Medro.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2007/may/13/comment.politics

A reporter for the guardian knows about this but you don't. We both know you're talking **** here.

Was the fella done for breach of the peace or religious breach of the peace?

When did I say McBride said it was sectarian? He implied that it was and the severity of the word was the reasoning for him including it in the same context as black players getting targeted with bananas.

Are you trying to say that you can't think of ANYTHING racist that is not defined in the dictionary?

    http://nilbymouth.org/history/

"Offensive sectarian language is still used in Scotland on a daily basis, with abusive terms such as “Hun” and “Orange bastard” being used negatively against Protestants"

No you don't, you latched on to a comment I told you that my dead grandparents said years ago. That was my grandmother using the term fenians when back in the 1930's.

Medro, do you know why Nil By Mouth say Hun is sectarian? Who gave them that insight?

    Serious question.

Thank you again, for backing up my point. You see protestants rioting as huns, nothing to do with Rangers fans.

    <laugh>

It's quite evident that you need to brush up on your history. According to you the British Army "invaded" N.I in the 70s, moved on to Iraq, then Afghanistan and then Libya.

Medro, out of curiosity, did you write any articles about the naughty songs Rangers fans sung at games this pre-season and at numerous grounds last season?

But I never called a Rangers fan a hun! Show me where I did! It is you who had the arguement surrounded in N Ireland. Dont chop and change to suit your devilishly clever editing techniques at not showing my full post. Quote mining is the trick of the gutter press my good man

Mate you said you saw prods rioting and you thought to yourself "huns." That is exactly my point, people see prods as huns and nothing to do with Rangers. Like I said you are only backing up my point.

You classify prod rioters as huns, correct. That is exactly what I have been saying all along. What did you want me to conclude, that your brother-in-law is a protestant?

No I called the rioters huns as they were acting "barborous and destructive", they just happened to be protestant at the same time. My sister's fiancee is protestant but I dont call him a hun, why because he is a nice guy.
So there is no direct link to me calling protestants huns, but there is a link to me calling protestants displaying irrational and hate filled violence huns. How are you not getting this, its not that they are prods it is because they are violent.
Wait you are getting it, you are just being deliberatley obtuse.

So you're ignorant to the questionable songs Rangers fans sing but yet have an acute awareness of any banned songs Celtic fans sing? Well that's odd. <confused>

Let me help you out: http://news.stv.tv/scotland/west-ce...sectarian-singing-during-pre-season-friendly/

I'll ask you the question once again: did you write any articles about the naughty songs Rangers fans sung at games this pre-season and at numerous grounds last season, the League Cup final, for example?

Medro simple question. Do you know what sectarian means? I mean do you actually understand it? Because I'm not sure you do. I think you should go away research this and then come back and start discussing this. When i know you actually understand this term then maybe you can have a reasoned debate

That statement is sectarian pure and simple.

I'll ask you again, what was sung?

How can you expect me to comment on something that neither me or you know about?

Do you have proof of Neil Lennon running on to the pitch to shout at the referee during a pre-season friendly in Australia?
