A prime example of sweeping under the carpet.

Remember this article is about the IRA songs from the Celtic support.

A lot of people on here know exactly what the word Hun means, but will continue to say it isn't sectarian. The likes of Rebel, CiarinArdoyne etc from N.I will tell that it refers to a Protestant or member of the unionist community.

Despite people bring told that it us an offensive, sectarian term, they still continue to use it.

None of that is from wiki , it's from a Gers fan forum, a Hearts fan forum and an English guy on this forum.

Can I tell you something any body who is called h.n instead of a British Soldier should be so delighted that he would throw a £10.00 in the nearest charity box.
Where I come from, there is no one as low and as much despised as a Brit Soldier.
They came over and committed all sorts of atrocities many probably will never be uncovered.
Then the went to Irag and killed that many women and children that the President of United States declared that
no one could report on the Iragi losses. When it suited them to leave Irag, they moved on to Afghanistan, murdered women and children.
Then went to Libya and bombed innocent women and children from the sky. Brave soldiers, I would rather be called a h.n than a Brit.

yes or no answer russ. would it be racist to use the word KAFFIR if we had a south african black man posting on here?

this is what I mean. you have an response to everything unless you dont have an answer.

Took long enough to get this off General Chat.

It's no coincidence that there's been an increase in this "you're a bigot", "no, you're a bigot" type threads since Medro signed up. He was like this every day on 606 and he's imported his pish onto here.

Please refrain from using the word "signed".

As Med dog will tell you, the Ulster covenant was 'signed' in 1912 by terrorists opposed to the Home rule for Ireland bill. It is deeply offensive and deeply sectarian.

    thank you.

Kaffir is offensive and racist, it's in the dictionary too.

The word kaffir, sometimes spelled kaffer or kafir, is an offensive term for a black person

I'm still waiting for you to show me a dictionary entry where it states Hun = Prod.

So your logic is 'It's not sectarian until it is confirmed in the DICTIONARY.'

    Please tell me you're kidding.

Or by law and as we've discovered during the last 412 threads you've posted on this subject that is a grey area.
