Going back a couple of years that was probably better. And after all, we've always had great groundsmen and beautiful playing surfaces.
As the season progresses wins become more important. If we are mid-table with nothing to play for then entertainment comes first. If we are fighting relegation or going for promotion then it has to be win at all costs.
I voted for "win at all costs" because I think that winning becomes a mind-set that leads to more confident play and therefore better play. I really think that as the run-in developed last season Saints became a better team, one that wasn't going to allow themselves to lose, and played some great football as well.
