Doing a weird tea.

Pork schnitzel, chips, sautéed cabbage with bacon. Have also made made a batter and have deep fried some cauliflower florets. Also made some onion rings.

It looks a ****ing mess so far.

@Tootsie what do you do with the oil from your fryer when you change it?

Looked a bit pale and pastey..

Can’t beat a bit of bisto.

In all fairness I’d rather have had that then what I ate. Had veg in the fridge which needed eating. Also had tenderstem broccoli. My farts are already really quite vile.



I bet Stan's stew was the bomb. (those meatballs will definitely have disintegrated though, only pics can prove otherwise!)

I get Bisto thickens things but it's really not necessary. Got my head round using a crock pot a lot over the last year or so, there are other ways of thickening up a dish.

Lamb meatballs sound nice, i deffo need to get some lamb mince and try some lamb burgers.

But would i add in with them a bit off chopped mint and?

Oh and ginge, **** ya bread crumbs.

it's called corn flour.
 
Pearl barley or some lentils will do the trick if you're slow cooking.

In the case of lamb, lentils are perfect. Pearl barley suits beef or chicken better.

Lentils make me **** like a trooper with the ****s. The meatballs held together beautifully BTW.

Coriander

All go well in lamb balls.

Balls didn’t disintegrate at all but I never took a pic. Had to eat and dash out to watch the Cards play Torquay.
