That was an obvious joke though Gonz.
    I thought so anyway.

Which just goes to show how the typed word can be taken in the wrong way!

I did see the funny side once you had pointed out the obvious fishing attempt. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Cous cous is ****.. dont see the point in it at all.. I've never cooked with lentils, wouldnt know where to start either.

I need some new things to cook.. I'm bored of my repertoire at the moment.

Though I have learned how to make this : Thai Laab

I like lentils, healthy, tasty and filling. They go well in stews and soups and those puy ones I used last week in the casserole go well in Indian food. Otherwise red or green are just the ticket.
Cous cous isn't my favourite stuff either, although she does do this 'jewelled' cous cous which is nice as part of a salad. I wouldn't ever buy out or order out though, it's only ever been **** when shop bought. It's the stock that makes it, otherwise it just tastes of **** all.

You don't like spicy food do you? Got a couple of standard Thai/Indian dishes that are worth doing but sure you've said you wouldn't fancy them.

Not a big fan of curries.. The Mrs makes (apparently) a good Thai curry she made it for me.. I didnt like it... was just runny green **** with bits of chicken. I enjoyed the sticky rice though.

I've still got a Haggis in the fridge which i need to use.

I just need some tasty weekly meals.. easy to make. May try a fish pie.

    I like a fish pie.

Been a long time since I did one as my girlfriend tends to make one every Friday so I've been elbowed out there. They're ok most of the time though so I can't complain, although she users leeks when it should be spinach and often forgets the boiled eggs!

Give a canelloni a go or something, always nice to mix things up a bit.

Yeah, don't think I'll bother with that at work!

How about a lamb based regional dish?

A Lancashire hot pot, which is always nice. Or a Welsh cawl, which is good too.
