I've never had lobster. Am I missing something? I've always thought lobster to be a tad decadent.

    Worth every penny imo.

In dishes like that it's not so expensive anyway.

That looks great. Something my mam used to make but never gets made in our house as the missus only eats well done beef and chicken breast.
Bacon bits in a soup = superb.

This ones for triple fred Com. Found an Indian recipe for chips that includes mash potato with beasan flour plus spices made into a batter then piped into hot oil. They look delicious maybe @Spurlock can give a name to the delicacy but I will post it up as soon as my besan flour is delivered from Bangkok.

I'm also having a rump steak tonight, with chips (done twice so far), fried onions and mushrooms done in garlic butter, and some peas and carrots.

It's up to you mate, some folks put them in the fridge to cool them down quicker, i'm never in a rush so just leave them.

I always do the first fry on a low heat, until they rise to the top, then you know they are cooked through.

My third fry is really just a reheat.

cooling them does something to the starch and makes them really crispy.

I’m having schnitzel with some ovened chunks of potato and beans as I’ve had a 12 hour day. Plus Guinness. May go crazy and hoy some bbq sauce in my beans.
