Tuna pasta for me, Cba cooking nothing so just put pasta on, will add some sweetcorn and onion and mayo. And of course tuna.
Got a few beckys in the fridge too, might get ****ered and start abusing people later. Apologies for that in advance.
Had lamb shank, mash, rich gravy and peas for tea. Washed it down with three pints of Hobgoblin Gold, which was a cracking pint. Interesting pub, middle of ****ing nowhere in a village with a church on the other side of the little square. You'd think no **** would be in there but was busy as, was expecting it to be a bit **** but was really good. Even if I could feel a hundred eyes boring down on my head as I sat there.
you take something to read or sit there eyeballing the yocals. Maas near the borders myself yesterday, was between Ross an Monmouth. Arse end of nowhere much the same of being eyeballed by everyone.
Just took the phone. Usually suffices for a quick hour and half. Will go again, definitely. Can't go every week mind, blowing £25 just on an evening meal defeats the object a bit. Got to go a gym/run/cinema of evening.
It's good with a nice rice or biryani. Tbh I like it with roti too. Especially tandoori roti Im old school me though. I still like saag and makkai do roti with a nice glass of lassi. A lot of the veggie dishes are dry, so saag (unless it's the lassi one), qaddu daal, courgettes etc. Tell me something though, how's the ghosht round your ways? Mutton has a weird taste at the moment, has done for a while. Even the keema. Spoke to the butchers and he said it maybe where they getting the sheep from at the moment
Rarely buy Mutton Always go for the Lamb so I don't know what it's like currently Used to like Makki dhi roti as a kid but not now...just plain roti or a Paratha with my saag. You know how to make 'Kadhi'? usually throw some onion barjis in with it...scrumptious
Yeah I make kadhi. Lassi one for the pakoras. Also make like "saunf badaam" etc when ill or just need to settle stomach after a few heavy meals out or summat. Question for you. Do you say "porti" or "lobia" for red kidney beans? Love that with boiled rice
You're kidding? Made right they the mutts mate I don't eat dhaals a lot but I like most of them. Mung, cholle etc
I love my daals...they go so nice with boiled rice...chopped onions and fresh coriander on top. and a big jug of ice cold water
the wife makes a nice daal. I’m meant to be attempting to make a keema rogan josh Saturday. Am sure I **** it up.
Will be having a Burrito at Bristol Airport tonight and a ludicrously expensive pint. Tomorrow, gonna see what Glasgow has to offer. Anyone been recently? If so, any recommendations, although I've got an idea at the minute anyway?
