    The point is its filling and satisfying, you could add other veg and you can have it as a soup or dry as a side dish plus its **** easy to make.

    I'd never make a curry with potatoes in it tbh so that's kinda wasted on me, I've heard of people putting nuts in curries too.:emoticon-0119-puke:

    For me it has to have meat or I'm out.

    Not for me either

    But no potato in a curry? Clueless...they soak up the juices and pack a punch. Don’t put them in at the beginning so that they go soft...it’s all in the timing G

    Nuts, not so much.

    Our Sri Lankan friends do a curry with cashews in. I love curry and I love cashews but they don’t go together.

    I'd only put nuts in a Chicken or Lamb Passanda (almonds, powdered and flakes).

    I might try some small cubes of potato next time I do one. I don't do curries often tbh I should do them more.
