    To be fair I ****ed up my boulongere spuds. Forgot I was meant to crispy fry the onions before they got added into the layers of spud.

    i fried my onions and bacon pieces before i added them to my mash...that's why i usually prepare before i have a beer.

    I was reasonably sober when I prepared them. Took the hound for a walk whilst they were being cooked.

    Sat down with with a family of pakis. They had a dog which I was really surprised by as as they usually are scared to death of dogs. Have arranged to meet them again with the dogs.

    Despite beliefs on here, italian cooking is not supposed to have loads of sauce, the olive oil is meant to compensate for it.

    No mate, was a puppy American bulldog. He was beautiful. The two women though were fit and wearing the same outfit. Found it very suspicious.

    I think it's just become bantz mate. To be fair the last few dishes you've put up I would have eaten. But yeah, I was trying to think if I've ever eaten a GENUINE Italian dish with lashings of sauce, and the answer is no. The way they avoid it being dry is through the olive oil, that's why the mafia never get sauce down their white shirts <whistle>
