    Yeah, was really good.

Skinless thighs, bottle of hot marinade, some left over diced pancetta and away you go.

Porky hog sausages with caramelised onion, roast tatties, roast parsnips, yorkie (shop bought) and purple sprouting.

Mrs has eaten a big lunch so that’s how I’m going to roll tonight.

I have some pans that don't need oil. I fry eggs straight to the pan...

I've got more steak than I know what to do with so I went the easy route, straight in the pan, rare. Sliced in a big fresh roll.

But I don't own a proper steak grill, I'm a bloke living alone that only has steak when it's in bulk ffs. Ain't buying no poncy chef's grill.

I have started seasoning it properly since @Chief pointed it out but I don't use oil. **** that, the steak has enough fat on to cook perfectly.

I'm ****ing sick of steak now anyway....

    Till tonight <laugh>

I always put a tiny bit of oil on the steak run it in. Then salt and pepper it.

Cooks the steak more evenly by oiling it. Then lob a bit of butter in the pan when the steak is nearly cooked. You have that much steak you may as well give it a go.. <ok>

I had a 10oz rump last night. Cooked Rare, with a red wine and bone marrow sauce.

    Was ****ing lush.

Personal preference ordinarily would be rib eye, then rump, then fillet, then sirloin. They're all nice though.

Had crispy panko battered halloumi to start. Also fantastic.

Gonna be having me some Savoyard cuisine as of Saturday evening.

    It's very cheese based. Very!
