Looks good. Mash looks stodgy though. Did you use coconut cream?

    No, shop bought.

The only thing that let is down was the microwave mash but I can't do anything about that.

    Was Sainsbury's, still tasty enough.

Going to do a traditional ragu on the weekend as we have visitors and I decided it would be an easy option so I've been looking into it.

    Onion
    Carrot
    Celery
    Half beef half pork
    Glass of red
    Stock
    Tom puree
    Whole milk

    Seems to be the basics.

    Using milk, there’s a good chance. <whistle>

Ps. What pasta are you using?

Crushed clove of garlic wouldn't go amiss. Also, a bay leaf.

I'm thinking pancetta as well, the traditional recipe is very simple and the milk thing is interesting.

Interesting but not needed. Try Pappardelle.

It's a Northern Italy thing, think I'll give it a go seeing as I haven't done so before. Pasta wise I'll go tagliatelle.

So garlic bay and pancetta in, I have some lemon thyme growing in the garden so will use some of that.

The lack of tomatoes is interesting I'd normally have a lot of toms in there.
