My youngest daughter has gone vegetarian for February ... not sure her heart is completely in it as she chose to do it for February because it is the shortest month <laugh>

... that said ... there is some pretty tasty vegetarian stuff out there these days - we've been eating some of it as side dishes to our main <ok>

Girl at work did this for January. Did it to lose weight and has got even bigger due to her replacing whatever meat she was eating with cheese. She of course has been telling everyone about how great she is for sticking to her veggie diet for a month.

I would have no chance of being able to do it, honestly can't think of a meal I've had that didn't involve some sort of meat, must go through about 10 chickens a week

Just ate my slow cooker chilli.

Had to use actual mince as I went to Tesco express last night and they had no diced beef. It's better with diced beef, mince does need to be browned off as it breaks down and crumbles in the crock pot.

Was still very nice, just not as nice.

Going to have a couple of slurps of Douro now. Need a glass this evening.

Yeah when the mrs used mince the texture was weird. Would like to try using diced beef.

    Any news on your dad?

No booze for me tonight. Going to try an avoid it this weekend too.
