Re crispy pancakes.. They sell them aldi.. I bought two boxes of them on my last shop.. They only had the beef ones mind.

As to my favourite home cooked junk food.. Would probably be hot dogs with a slice of plastic cheese mustard and ketchup.

Yeah, saw them myself in Sainsburys last week so they still exist. They wouldn't be the same unless deep fried and we don't have a chip pan so I might not take the plunge. They are epic though, fair play.

Nearly just called into Aldi for my four bird but realised it would be sat in the car for the rest of the day so will have to go and get later. Not missing out on this great opportunity though!

Have decided to supplement my dinners with soup and because I haven't got any homemade currently bought 4 Baxters healthy for three quid in Morrisons. Still starving though! If I'm this bloody hungry the diet should be working though, shouldn't it?

Don't know what's for tea tonight but she did toad in the hole with massed swede and brocolli and onion gravy last night and I have to say it was bloody lovely.

Got a friend who owns a caravan and another who knows someone who does so I'll ask for you. The latter is superb, great site which runs straight onto the dunes and Broughton Bay (look it up on attached link below) but she runs as business so don't know the cost.

The other goes down to Oxwich (ditto), they are mates who may give me a weekly cost.

*edit - the caravan site on the Broughton photo isn't actually the one, its off behind that rocky outcrop to the left

Been cooking a lot of the same things lately so going to change it up this weekend. Out in Cardiff Bay on Saturday don't know where we are eating yet though.

Slow cooked lamb shoulder in red wine on Sunday.

Made a bit of a pig of myself today. Nothing yesterday bar a banana and fresh orange. I've got chicken stew and mash tonight, but I had sausage, chips and beams at lunchtime. Nothing tomorrow I think.

Tonight not sure as of yet.. Hoping the mrs will go out and I will sit playing on the ps3 .. Which will undoubtedly mean its bran flakes again for tea.

Yeah that's the fella.. If you buy a ham is it not ready to eat??

Am going to my cousins on Christmas Day, my contribution is to do a ham. I do the recipe I mentioned to you in cider and grain mustard. With the studded onion etc. then when it's simmered for a few hours I make a glaze and roast it.. I do a glaze of soy sauce honey and grain mustard..

Last night was sirloin steak in a dry pepper marinade, celeriac mash, spinach and courgette salad..

The mrs cooked it.. Steak was a bit stewed the courgettes somehow tasted fishy. The celeriac mash was nice though..

Can't imagine how a phallus shaped vegetable would ever acquire a fishy taste. You not been satisfying her? <whistle>

Anyone ever tried that 100% protein diet? 5 days of it is supposed to cleanse your system. I've done it twice this year and it's a killer. First couple of days are fine but I then start craving fruit and veg (I can live without starchy carbs but I need fruit carbs). Around day 4 it makes you piss constantly. Apparently it's your kidneys having a good old clean out! Whilst I didn't feel particularly hungry I did struggle to do my usual work out as stamina levels become very low. What would normally be a pretty standard hour of cardio gets a bit harder every day until it's absolute torture on day 4 and impossible to finish on day 5. A diet of steak, chicken, yoghurt, fish, eggs and cheese seems pretty straightforward but I even found myself looking longingly at a brussel sprout!

I had steak and kidney pie, chips and gravy and a pint of ale, because I am a northern Bastard.

Am washing that down with a bottle of Barolo. She's out, it'd be wasted on her!

Where's sweats? He'd love what I had for Sunday dinner yesterday. I had a free bowl of corned beef hash at my local - the landlady makes a good'un.

At home, I had mash fried up with crispy bacon bits accompanied with Heinz baked beans and two rounds of bread and lurpak - superb <ok>

I love corned beef hash.. If made properly.. I don't like it if all that it is is mash potato and corned beef mashed up together..
